A fantastic experience. The facilities were top-notch with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The owner were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast was a particular highlight with a great selection of delicious food. The atmosphere of the hotel was also very nice and warm. The hotel's location was also excellent, with easy access to the beaches and the centre of Cape Town. Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay with excellent facilities and a convenient location.

Lovely stay home away from home. Felt very welcomed.

The owner Mark is a great guy and very much involved in the running of the guest house. He was very attentive and helped with info about the area. The breakfast was special made and the cleaners and staff were very friendly never hesitating to help. The room was very clean and the bed soft. We had our own BBQ at the pool one day sipping away at our bottle of wine and enjoying the blauwberg air. Food was great. Facilities great. I'll be visiting again for sure.

The place is very neat, clean and well maintained. The owners are friendly and helpful. The stay made one feel like being at home away from home. I also thought the refreshments in the room are a great touch especially after a long working day...I'd gladly stay there again.

Thanks Sharl and Jeni for hosting old ladies like us we feel at home. We enjoy your company for taking care of us, with your beautiful place and nice garden. The rooms were clean and comfortable the breakfast was 100% good. Coming with my family next time. Love you guys and care and be blessed.

Hosts were friendly. Accommodation was not up to our standards. Garden beautiful, however the bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas requires upgrade and maintenance. Breakfast was restricted from 07:30 - 09:30. During December holiday, guests prefer to have breakfast opened until 10:30. The hosts did try to accommodate on some days. Hosts was always present, and we found the camera's invaded our family space in the communal areas. Leading sliding doors to garden was armed at 20:00 during the holiday's, noted security was a concern, however felt that hosts could have arranged to armed doors a little later to allow guess to use the garden and table for smokers.

Jennifer, your daughter Sonja was an awesome junior host. We miss her smiles and friendly personality.

We arrived here straight off the plane after a long difficult journey from the UK. It is so lovely! They made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond in every way to make us feel comfortable. I highly recommend this guesthouse. We slept really well, and enjoyed the garden and the pool. It is so peaceful and the restaurants are incredible too - like eating at a top 5 star restaurant in the UK but really reasonable prices. Watching the kite surfers as the sun went down was fantastic. The main thing is that the family and Linda who run the guesthouse are the kindest most wonderful hosts I have ever met. Thank you so much for making our landing in Cape Town so gentle!

I am glad I chose this place over any one of the mainstream Hotels and others. It was a family stay and we stayed in the family room which was really lovely and had everything that could be required by people during the stay. We were made to feel welcomed and were really catered for and looked after. Every consideration and effort was made for us to feel welcome. Our dietary needs were met and every time there were any issues or assistance required, we were happily assisted. This sort of care and consideration is rarely felt in the service industry these days and this was greatly appreciated. On the stay itself, everything was seamless, breakfasts were great and staff attentive. There is safe parking, the area itself is quite safe and just a few roads away from ammenities. You can park on the roadside and you can rest assured it is safe as well. It is close to great restaurants and the beaches and 20 minutes from main stream Cape Town and other sites. I would definitely recommend them. I would also like to thank Jennifer and Sharl for the lovely stay.

Jennifer and Sharl are delightful proprietors running this well located B&B. Quietly situated it's just a short drive from the bustling beachfront of Bloubergstrand. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order with the tables looking out to the pleasant garden. Our bedroom - Room 1 - was on the ground floor and very comfortable and spacious with its own door onto the garden and access down to the secluded swimming pool. Sharl and Jennifer have plans for refurbishment which might include a door to our bathroom which would be good. We plan to stay here again on our next visit to the Cape in 2024.

I would recommend this place to anyone anytime,the warm welcome we received from Shaw and Jennifer was superb.The good ambience environment,the rooms,the English breakfast was top of the notch.Linda one of their stuff is excellent with guests.We felt at home Well-done Mandalay team

The hospitality was amazing. I would recommend the guest house for family or group that want to visit Cape Town for leisure. It has swimming pool and closer to the beach and other entertainments. Dinning hall is beautiful and the view of Table mountain.
