Hotel Anemone

We had a family holiday here from the end of Dec 23 to the first week of Jan 2024 and meant to write a review earlier but forgot to and now reminiscing about our amazing ski holiday there 1 year ago. The ski-in ski-out location, the best, good food, service, spa facilities and ambience was tops and made our time so memorable. Being family run gave it a welcoming atmosphere.and the food was plentiful and delicious. We absolutely love Anemone Hotel and would love to stay there again.

What a wonderful hotel in gem-like Lech!! The attention to detail and personalized service from check-in, to the restaurant, to the lovely (and incredibly clean!) rooms was unparalleled we enjoyed every meal (we were on half pension), absolutely loved the wellness center, and all the perks tjat we received during our stay (afternoon « snack » was always so yummy and ski advice was perfect!). Agnes and Johannes truly run a tight ship. We will be back!!’

I've just enjoyed a wonderful four day stay at the Hotel Anemone. I'd never visited Lech before and chose the hotel because of the warm praise so many prior guests have written in earlier reviews. I can only repeat what has been said before, the hospitality I was shown at this family-run hotel was so warm and gracious. The entire staff could not have been more thoughtful and welcoming.  I've stayed in many charming small hotels in the Alps, but the Anemone surpassed anything I've previously experienced.  As to the hotel, my room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and all the amenities you could want were provided. The location is as near to ski-in / ski-out as is possible as access on and off the piste is around 50m from the building. There is a ski room with individual lockers with heated boot warmers inside. There are also spa facilities, which I didn't use, but which were clearly popular as I saw many guests in their bathrobes heading to the spa in the post-ski / pre-dinner hours. Also games rooms with a pool table, ping pong, board games, etc... The food at the hotel was extraordinarily good. I was on a half-board plan and so had breakfast and dinner each day. The breakfast service was typical of Alpine hotels - a good and plentiful selection. Each afternoon there is a late-afternoon tea service with a small buffet of hot and cold snacks and pastries. But don't fill up on pastries as the dinner service is exceptional. Each day there is a set 4 course menu with meat, fish and vegetarian options. Suffice it to say is that the hotel's chef is tremendously talented. They rely on locally-sourced ingredients and the style of cooking is rooted in Austrian cuisine but the chef is very inventive. I lt was a joy to eat there each night. If you do stay at the Anemone, treat yourself and book a half-board plan. In short, a perfect stay in the most welcoming hotel - with the finest chef -  that you'll find in Lech.

Hotel Anemone was incredibly special. The facilities were top-notch and included a beautiful spa which was perfect for a post-ski day recovery. They offer three saunas, two steam rooms, as well as some wonderful relaxation spaces. The room was also very comfortable. I shared with two other people and there was plenty of space for all of us, and the bathroom was stocked with amenities. The breakfasts and dinners which were included in our stay were immaculate. Every single dinner meal was at least four courses with locally sourced ingredients cooked beautifully by the in-house chef, and the breakfast spread in the mornings was perfect to load up on before a good day of skiing. The location is basically on the mountain, and while they advertise as being ski-in and almost ski-out, the walk to the slopes in the morning was only about 50 feet. In my opinion they are too humble because the proximity to the mountain was better than most places in the area. But what set this place apart more than anything was the service. It is a family run operation, and I immediately felt that from the second I walked in the door. Everyone was always smiling and happy to see us, and every member of staff from the kitchen to the front desk to the cleaning staff took the time to get to know us. The attention to detail was beyond anything I have experienced, with every single one of our needs being met. The staff were proud to be a part of my experience and I cannot say enough good things about them. It was certainly worth the trip over from the states, and I will have fond memories of the place for a lifetime. Thank you so much to Agnes and Johannes for such a wonderful stay!
