This trip and this hotel select you to be part of my wife's Compleannos Gift (Adriana Fonseca) The dinner was very good, they made special attention to her with a delicious cake, very good detail!!! Except the ”cold” so high in the city of Bogota, everything was excellent!!! I still am very happy with the Movich chain hotels in the country. I would like to have a membership or score for using them on my business and family trips

The hotel has always been the hotel of my preferred, I always choose Habitel Prime, It's facilities, rooms, restaurant are a 100% excellent service. The hotel offers a lunch.

Great location close to the airport, there is free transportation from and to the airport and also to some close shopping malls. The service is very good

Let me start with the positives: As Bogota’s airport is the major hub for domestic flights in Colombia, we spent 4 nights at the Courtyard. It’s very conveniently located in almost a walking distance from the airport and have a good shuttle service. As you can expect from Courtyard by Marriott (I am a platinum member) rooms are nice and the restaurant was good. Stuff were friendly. I would have rated it at 4 stars but… We wanted to get to Zipaquira Salt Cathedral (Catedral de Sal) and asked the receptionist’s help. They communicated with the transportation services they use (GERF) and gave us a quote of 220,000 COP for a minivan. Yet, on the night before travel they have told us the price is actually 379,000 COP. They have admitted they have made a mistake and the manager even suggested to compensate us with dinner for the honest mistake. I showed him the lonely planet book showing an estimated price of up to 160,000 COP for a taxi to Zipaquira which includes 2.5 hours wait at the Salt Cathedral. He mentioned their transportation services (GERF) includes a wait of up to 5 hours which would allow us enough time to visit the Cathedral and enjoy the city. We have accepted the offer and thought it was a real nice gesture from the manager to compensate us. After we have finished the visit to the Cathedral which took us about 2 hours, we have decided that instead of staying at the city we would prefer to go to Monserrat which is just a short detour from the way back to the hotel. We have asked the driver if we can spend the rest of the wait time on Monserrat instead and he acknowledged it. We spent about 2.5 hours to visit Monserrat. When we arrived back in the hotel the driver asked for 535,000 COP claiming the agreed total travel time they have committed was 5 hours, not the wait time as communicated and agreed by us. Given the trip to Zipaquira is about 2 hours each way that obviously doesn’t make sense as it means it allows only 1 hour at the Salt Cathedral and no time at the city. It means they have known we would need to pay much more. We have discussed it with the hotel reception and asked to talk with the manager who was not at the hotel but they were unable to resolve the issue. We have reluctantly paid the difference but felt we were cheated (…and paid almost 3 times a regular taxi service we could have ordered). Must admit the hotel gave us the dinner for free as promised but in 2 weeks of traveling in Colombia using hotels to arrange our transportations it was the only incident we have faced. Bottom line - good hotel but we felt cheated which ruined our experience. Suggest NOT to use their transportation services (GERF - see picture attached) or at a minimum be very specific and put the terms in writing to avoid such bad feelings and experience.

I was visiting family in Bogota, Colombia. On my way back home, our Delta flight from Bogota to Atlanta was canceled due to mechanical issues. Delta distributed letters to passengers covering hotel, meal and trasnportation. I was assigned to Aloft Bogota airport. After hours of frustration and chaos at the airport due to the cancellation, upon arriving at this Aloft Bogota hotel, the reception employee Sebastian Beltran instructed us to go to lunch and wait until 3 pm to check in. Explained to him we were there due to cancelled flight, exhausted and with lugagge (promise I did it with good manners). He replied to me asking me to go to another hotel if I didnt like their policies (here of course I got upset and asked him not to talk to me on that rude way and being considered and respectful, then he just ignorned me). After that unexpected rude behavior, I called to the hotel La Fontana where I stayed in Bogota before the flight cancellation. They were really kind and accomodated a room for me at last minute with an special price. Of course, I left Aloft Bogota Airport hotel for La Fontana immediately! I also complained with Delta about this behavior from this hotel staff.

The hotel was just fine, It requires a little more maintenance, specially in the room. Some LED lights were falling down in my room. The cleanliness in the room can also improve. I also ordered some things from room service, the lady on the phone told me a price, but when it arrived at the room I have to pay more than I was told.

Excellent location near the airport the Dorado, room and cleaning perfect, delicious breakfast buffet type, offers transfer service to the airport. close to shopping centres and other interesting sites.

Two issues with the hotel. 1. The Checking process took a very long time, about 15 minutes, we were already tired from a long day and just wanted to relax. There was nobody else there and no reason why it should take 15 minutes to Checkin. 2. After we got settle we wanted to take a shower and sleep early as we had to get up 3:45 to leave for the airport at 4am. However we soon found the Shower not working. Only a little drip of water came out. I made a video of it also. I called the front desk Call 1 mention shower is broken Said maintenance will look at it. No call back and nobody showed up Call 2 mention we already called shower broke Said they will try to solve it in 10 min No call back Call 3 I mentioned we might as well move to another hotel as this is unacceptable and we need our shower. We have an early flight it has been almost an hour we already should be asleep Now they answered and gave us the room across to use for the shower The whole experience just did not leave a good impression with us and we would not choose this location again unless something changes.

This hotel and staff were the most kind, courteous, helpful, clean and family oriented - I mean they make you feel like family! I have spent many nights in hotels because of my line of business in real estate and I have NEVER loved a hotel experience like my ten days at this hotel. I never write reviews, good or bad. You cannot go wrong here. Tourists will understand when I say that feeling safe is a must, especially in another country. In the room there was a personalized safe to keep your valuables secure and the staff NEVER enter your room unless directed by guests. The rooms are spotless and fresh smelling, the staff is the hardest working, going beyond with every request - completely and always. This hotel was also the cleanest and best stocked with any amenity needed. My partner and I enjoyed the sanitized saunas, jacuzzis and gym - permitting us to create special long lasting memories! Come to Bogota and stay at this hotel; you will thank me. ＜3 We hope to stay here again, very soon. Check it and check out service are fast. The breakfast is relatively simple. Near the air port and free shuttle bus is available. Some people smokes at the balcony which kind of annoying to the people sitting inside.
