We were in Boise for several days on a family visit with a cousin who lives in West Boise. The Springfield Suites location was perfect. Plenty of parking, easy driving access to downtown Boise, Eagle, Garden City, etc. About 20 minutes from the Boise AIrport. Our room was okay, sort of separated into two areas. One with a couch, desk, and sink/refrigerator, the other the bed and bathroom. The first section needed more light. It was far from the window so had little natural light, and lacked an overhead light or additional lamps to make it workable. In addition, the room was build around a foldout bed by West Elm. If you need an extra bed, this would have worked. But as a couch, it was terribly uncomfortable. Not really designed for sitting. The room has a single television that swivels depending on whether you’re in bed watching, or on the couch. The room was quiet, and we slept very well. The breakfast downstairs was adequate, although it could get crowded in the morning, although the parking lot was not crowded at all. There are several restaurants just a few minutes walk away, in a small ***** mall next door. The Thai and pizza restaurants both good. We didn’t have a chance to try the others. There are also several good restaurants just 2 miles away in Eagle. A quick drive away. All in all, it was fine for our purposes. Good location, reasonable room, reasonable price.
