Hotels near Plaža Grabov Rat, Bol

Villa Giardino is perfectly located 1 minute away (up a hill) from central Bol with a store around the corner, great restaurants (Riva was my favourite) within a couple of hundred meters, and walking distance (20 minutes) to the Zlatni-rat Beach with several other beaches available within a couple of minutes. The hotel operators/staff are wonderful people (Nick and Elena with crew) who make the breakfast you want and ensure that there are fresh fruits, newly baked cakes, and bread as well as egg dishes of your choice. If you want some snacks or a glass of local wine then they will fix that for you. We will definitely return to Bol and will stay at Villa Giardino again.

We recently stayed at the Bluesun Hotel Borak for 4 nights and would highly recommend this hotel. It has recently been refurbished and all the rooms are modern, stylish, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was no tea making facilities in the room so bring your own kettle, but there was a fridge in the room. We booked a sea view room but most of the view is obscured by the glades of pine trees around the hotel. It wasn't a problem for us as we still had a nice view over the swimming pool, better than overlooking the car park. There is a good selection of food to suit all tastes but they do start clearing away early, so make sure you don't leave it too late for breakfast or dinner. There's no decent coffee at breakfast, so suggest bringing your own if you like good coffee. All the staff from reception to restaurant and cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is ideally placed just outside Bol, with an easy walk into town. There is a beach within 50m of the hotel. car parking is extra at 8 Euros a day. We went in September and although the hotel was busy, it wasn't the height of the summer season. We really enjoyed our stay, and considering its only a 3* hotel, it is to a very good standard and great value for money.

After a cancelled holiday to Greece, we decided to book to come here on a bit of a whim. We have been to Croatia before but only the mainland and loved it but the island of Brac is something else. The hotel is wonderful with incredible access to both the local town (10-25 minute walk depending on which end you fancy) and to Zlatini Rat beach (10 minute walk). There are several gorgeous beaches directly below the hotel which became our favourites as the water was gorgeous and warm-ish and had safe swimming areas. The beach at Zlatini Rat is also gorgeous and the bar “Auro” was lovely, the staff incredible! The town is also lovely with every place you visit serving gorgeous food and/or wine, with the staff always kind! As for the hotel, the rooms and the pool area are lovely and relaxing, both indoor and out. Myself and my mum had a massage and they were also incredible. The food is also great from breakfast to dinner with variation and yet still quality! The food is fresh, varied and ten times the quality you would get in an all inclusive. The best part about this hotel though is without a doubt the staff. The staff are incredible, kind, unassuming and lovely, from the bar staff to the waiters to the cleaners. They make the place what it is as does every single person we met on Brac Island. As a family we have travelled from New Zealand to Florida to India to half of Europe and never anywhere have we felt as universally welcomed by locals working in hospitality who are just incredible at their jobs through and through. If you are considering visiting this hotel or the island, do it, it is the best luck in the world that our holiday to Greece (with no disrespect) was cancelled and instead we got to go to this beautiful island! Thanks to all the staff who made it perfect. We will be back next year.

A very warm welcome upon arrival by George who clearly loves his job. So helpful, friendly and informative. The hotel grounds are beautiful in a great location , walking distance (around 20 minutes) to Stari Grad. Jelema so helpful with all our enquires when organising hotel transport/water taxi & confirming ferry times etc. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to everyone. We spent 4 wonderful night here a couple of weeks ago. It’s beautifully small with only 15 rooms meaning it’s quiet and intimate with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The room was lovely with plenty of space and all you need. We had a top floor room which meant the roof slope interferes into the room and the shower was a bit awkward as a consequence. The outside terrace was lovely for drinks, dinner and breakfast although watch out for the mosquitos so take your repellent with you! The breakfast buffet was lovely and there was a choice of eggs or pancakes too. We had dinner twice and the food was good and reasonable value although our fillet steak was closer to well done than medium. The village is lovely and quiet and not busy even when the boats arrive and has a couple of places to drink as well as a pizza restaurant and another more rustic restaurant further around the bay. A perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Absolutely loved every minute of our stay here. Small, family run Hotel on a gorgeous little stony beach, about 10 mins from Hvar Town. Booked directly with Josipa and she, her Brother and Dad couldn’t have been better Hosts - and the rest of the Staff are lovely too. Milna is small - it has around 7 Restaurants, a Bakery and a Grocery Shack. Everything closes around 11pm. The Beach is lovely for swimming so bring beach shoes. We rented sunbeds in the shade at the Tiki Bar. The Hotel itself is perfect - clean rooms, simple little Restaurant and plenty of choice for Breakfast. They offer reduced fare Taxis into Hvar Town which is super convenient. Only regret is staying for just 2 nights - loved it!
