A typhoon-stricken ruin, the room is full of mold, the walls are mottled, and the refrigerator smells bad. Please don't trust the photos provided by the merchant. Moreover, trip.com is the accomplice of this high-priced fraudster, and does not care about the rights and interests of consumers. Most of the hotels have negative reviews, and they did not let the hotel be removed from the shelves or have the punishment mechanism it should have, which failed the trust of consumers. Me and my friends will no longer use trip.com

The only good thing about our min-vacation here was leaving. When we arrived at Birdland Beach Club we thought we had made a wrong turn we pulled into what appeared to be a Junk Shop. The entrance was cluttered with rusted out and rotting vehicles that were advanced as classic rental vehicles. The “resort” looks more like the scene from the Chernobyl disaster. The relaxing images portrayed on their website did not exist. The staff is friendly and gives well rehearsed applauses and excuses for the “resorts” disastrous condition. Their website is misinformation and gives no glue as to the “resort’s” true condition or which rooms are in reality availability. The website’s photos are at least 10 years old and don’t reflect the gutted buildings, rotten structures such as the small scattered Bahay Kubos, bridges and safety handrails. The rooms that are advertise do not exist on the website were destroyed. The reality is what they uninhabitable empty stone coral structures with damaged or missing roofs. The prime room that we reserved and paid for did not exist, and we were given a less expensive alternative without a price adjustment. This was absolutely the worst establishment I have ever stayed in. It should be condemned for safety and sanitary reasons. My star rating is 1 because I cannot give negative or zero. The restaurant price gouges, coffee is extra even though breakfast is included. The included breakfast is extremely limited. The bath towels and Bedin were tattered and worn. Amenities such as shower soap or shampoo were available. The swimming pools were unkept and are a breeding pool for mosquito. Oh, and there is no beach to speak of, after taking this vacation, we were happy to go home.

We had booked for 3 days. We arrived at 3:00 PM and our “room” was not ready. Just took a tour around “the resort”. Very dirty, old and broken. Certainly not maintained in recent years. There were still old dishes in the restaurant. Very small swimming pool with dirty water. Reception area was dirty. The resort looks like a ghost resort and out of date. We left immediately. To another resort.

If the hotel owner and staff worked hard it might become a piece of crap place to stay, as it is now it looks abandoned with trash thrown around, dirty disgusting pool and death traps they call bridges which crack and fall apart while you walk over them. And to make matters worse they request you sign a waiver if you get hurt or die using their facilities they are nit to blame! No amenities at all, not even water. I did not try what they call a restaurant (Blue Mikey) as I don't want to die today... disgusting and filthy is really too nice words to use. Beach is a polluted joke of a beach and one you can't walk on or swim in. So much standing polluted water the mosquitoes are out in force! How Trip Adviser and ******* recommend this as Top Ten is a crime! And they need to review again. I will contact my credit card company to request refund!

AVOID THIS RESORT AT ALL COST: 1. For their rate, they don't even provide tissue paper which is BARE MINIMUM. They'll just provide you with super small soap. The comfort room which is located at the ground floor is too uncomfortable to use because you will be very visible from the second floor because of the bamboo flooring. 2. THE RESORT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR KIDS/SENIOR CITIZENS/INJURED AND PREGNANT WOMEN The pathways (some parts are made of bamboo as well) are too dangerous and shabby to walk on because they were too old already. SHARP stones are also all around. The stairs of the huts are also too dangerous and starining for people with knee problems. 3. DIRTY SEASHORE For a resort who claim that they are eco oriented, they're doing a very lousy job at taking care of their shoreline. Garbage are everywhere even on the water! We spend 3 days there and not even once did we see them clean their sorrounding. The shore is also full of dead weeds you'll not want to swim in it. 4. UNACCOMMODATING PERSONNELS THIS. Once you checked in, you'll have to fend for yourself. No one will check up on you even. When we asked for our final bill, they told us they'll bring it to our hut bit they never did, we have to go to the information again and follow up. They were not also that courteous so if you have something to ask about the items on your tab, you'll get a hostile attitude. 5. EVERYTHIMG STARTS AT 8AM! If you're hungry at 6am or when you plan to have an early breakfast because you have medicines to take, better order outside or buy food in advance before you go back to your cabins otherwise, you'll die of hunger because the people there doesn't come at work before 8AM. All checking out guests are entitled to a FREE RIDE to bus stations or in the centro. But since we cannot wait to get out of there we decided to check out at 7am. The previous night we settled our bill and asked the staff about the ride. I even asked the staff to give me the phone number of the owner so I could talk to him because my friend happened to have a knee injury she shouldn't be walking that far. They never gave me the number, they simply ignored my request. WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY CANNOT PROVIDE IT FOR US BECAUSE THE DRIVER AND EVERYONE COMES AT WORK AROUND 8AM. THEY LET US WALK ALL THE WAY TO THE HIGHWAY WHICH IS VERY FAR! 6. The cover of beanbags are DIRTY. EVEN THE PILLOWS AND BLANKETS ARE SMELLY. 7. Every hut doesn't have a room with a secured lock for the safety of your belongings . Considering that personnels leave the resort at night and comes back at 8AM the following day, everyone could sneak in without anyone knowing. On the third floor of our hut where the sleeping room supposed to be at, they simply put a blacket as a curtain on the door, nothing more. 8. ANIMAL POOP EVERYWHERE. We even walked on a pathway going down to the beach with a lot of rotten fruits fallen from the tree and they don't clean it. 8. The price of a small mug of coffee will cos

Place is being renovated. Unfortunately, the room we had [Ella Fitzgerald] is a bit worn down. Only a small soap is included in their offered toiletries which I think is a bit unreasonable for the room price. I understand the theme they are trying to pull, like ocean/nature-life, since most of their structures were made of wood and bamboo, but when you have a gaping peeping space on your main door where the lock is, doesn’t feel that safe or feels like the privacy is compromised. Their beach area is full of dead seagrass, which makes it awkward to walk on the beach or go into the water. But their staff compensated. They are very friendly and accommodating and the food is great! Right for the price. The best for me in this place is they are pet-friendly.

We selected this resort because it's very unique and the eco resort really caters to the tastes of foreign tourists who are into nature and have traveled other countries in Southeast Asia. My three children thoroughly enjoyed their tree house huts and we were able to do a little remote learning because of their uber fast internet. Beach front location so if you like the beach right in front of your room, this resort is it. We looked at other resorts in the city but they all look the same, cement rooms with swimming pool. This resort makes for a memorable holiday.

I was visiting friends in the Philippines and we visited north Philippines and went to Bolinao for sightseeing and stay in this resort. The forest landscape remind me of Ubud in Bali but located on the beach like Seminyak so best of two worlds. We really enjoy the Kubo near the ocean which is same word for small house in Indonesia. The food was very delicious.

My kids enjoyed the kiddie pool and collecting all sorts of sea creatures which of course they returned to the ocean. They bragged about their neemo fish discovery and the giant clams in front of the resort. The salt water pool worth checking out.
