I’d recommend hotel roma to anyone staying in Bologna. Not entirely sure I’d stay here again, just cause I found the area to be too central (covered in designer stores, would prefer something more local but I hadn’t been to Bologna before). But it was clean, and the staff was nice.

Great great location. Friendly staff and good breakfast for basics. Historic building with old world charm. Rooms understandably small, shower really small!

Good location in central Bologna. We walked from the station to the hotel. We liked being close to the city centre. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Buffet breakfast with a good choice of cereal; breads, patries, cheese, cold meats, fruit. Soya milk available.
