It could have been better. Historic building in the center of Bologna, a truly evocative and fascinating location, in particular the internal courtyard, called the "orangerie" in which there is the breakfast room.
The service can be improved: on our arrival the room was freezing because the previous guests had turned off all the radiators in the room. Check no? Ok the historic building in a 4-star hotel I would expect a thermostat in the room to regulate the temperature. Instead the only way to do it is to close or open the radiators by hand. And in fact then in the middle of the night I woke up due to too much heat. Alright..
Plugged bathroom sink. Who cleaned the bathroom before our arrival how did they not notice? Why hasn't it been fixed?
No hot water in the morning. Are we kidding?
The thing that bothered me the most is the wait for the table at breakfast. The hall is microscopic, give up a couple of bedrooms and make a second hall...

This is a lovely property, it is a quirky hotel with many wings that mean you end up walking in a different direction depending on your room. It has a delightful courtyard for breakfast and lounging in. Breakfast was a wide ranging selection with attentive staff who remembered our coffee order after the first day, impressive! Great restaurants across and down the street. Rooms were very comfortable with lovely toiletries.

Mes clients sont partis 4 nuits dont 3 dans une chambre avec un WC HS! Malgré les nombreux signalements, l'hôtel leur a attribué une nouvelle chambre pour la dernière nuit seulement. La fenêtre de leur chambre était condamnée ; les clients pensaient que c'était lié à la sécurité … En vain, puisque sur la dernière chambre, la fenêtre s'ouvrait ! L'hôtel n'était pas plein ; pourquoi ne pas les avoir changé de chambre dés la première nuit ? Leur fils en chambre individuel, était dans une chambre minuscule avec une petite fenêtre en hauteur et un petit lit. La chambre, n'est même pas sur le site de l'hôtel ! Les clients ont dû payer un supplément pour qu'il est une chambre standard ( ce qu'il avait déjà)! C'est honteux !

Highly recommend! Great, helpful staff at property. Good location with restaurants closeby. Walkable to city centre. Very clean room, good size. Wonderful buffet breakfast in the terrace.

Hotel was lovely and in a good location however, we stayed in room 209 which was big but had some sort of hotel staff rooms above it. The ceilings are thin so whenever anyone walked up there (a lot of heels on wooden floors?) you could hear it very loudly and you could hear dust dropping within the ceiling. Frustrating when it's occurring late at night and at 6am in the morning as well as any chatter. So unfortunately we didn't sleep well. Hotel breakfast was okay and all else looked good and service was great.

Very clean quiet and comfortable. Great location near the centre of town and all the attractions. Very tranquil gardens for breakfast .
Huge and pretty bathroom .

Pessima esperienze. L’hotel è anche in una buona posizione ma, sarò stato sfortunato ma la camera numero 8 è in continuità con la sala breakfast, quindi dalle 5.30 avete finito di dormire. Certe camere non andrebbero vendute ma andrebbero adibite a ripostigli o locali tecnici!!! Inoltre lo sciacquone continuava a scaricare acqua e a riempirsi ed ho dovuto chiudere a mano il rubinetto.
