Centraal gelegen in Bolsward. Fijn verwarmd terras, goede en zeer vriendelijke service, heerlijk diner in fijne omgeving. Goede kwaliteit met een glimlach. Veilige fietsenstalling voor de elfstedenfietsers. Prettige, warme verblijfplaats

Sinds 21 maart 2024 is de Wijnberg prachtig verbouwd.De kleuren zijn fabelachtig mooi en de akoestiek en inrichting zeer verzorgd. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en voorkomend en de gerechten zeer smakelijk. Vooral de kroketten van Holtkamp waren voor ons het hoogtepunt Dit is een plek waar we zeker nog zullen terugkomen en raden iedereen aan het zelf te ondervinden.

We stayed here on a recent family trip. We were traveling with a group of 12 including 6 children. The staff were so friendly and patient with us. We loved seeing the area by bike and enjoyed drinks and dinner at the outdoor cafe. It was a lovely experience and we will definitely be back!

Chef is via het Veerhuis hier terecht gekomen, 't Veerhuis heeft inmiddels de kaart weer aangepast maar nu bij Grand Café was het het eten van ons echt niet lekker! Voor een 'standaard' eetcafe/terras heeft de chef naar ons inzien iets teveel noten op zn zang, Friet met mosterdmayonaise (waarom niet gewone mayo), Saté met zoete satésaus was echt niet lekker en leek niet meer op satésaus. Een heel klein schaaltje friet met drie personen (je kunt wel bijbestellen) en lang erg lege glazen. We hebben de bediening op de hoogte gesteld dat we niet lekker gegeten hadden en ze snapten precies wat we bedoelden!? Omdat we lang niet voldoende gegeten hadden op de boot de barbeque maar aangestoken en tóch nog genoten. t Veerhuis zit er gelijk naast en wij zouden daar gaan zitten in de toekomst, schijnt er lekker te zijn :-)

Service and restaurant were great but room was extremely tiny with tiny tv, no air con but loud fan and you could feel building moving when big cars were passing by on the main street. Loud so forget about sleeping with windows open. And if you fat, you might struggle to fit into shower cabin 😳

Vreselijk hotel! Het inchecken vond plaats in een druk café restaurant. De dure kamer was veel kleiner dan op de foto. De kamer was erg warm onder het dak gelegen en geen airco. De douche was laag en erg krap. De herrie van uitgaande jeugd was na sluitingstijd echt heel erg. Ontbijt zat niet bij de prijs van €134,- per nacht inbegrepen. Pluspunt, matras was goed.

Sunday stay in connection with nearby gathering with friends. Central location right in town center although road work slowed down access. Hotel terrace busy with visitors including many bicyclists stopping for refreshments. Town quite walkable with interesting history including several unique churches; glass roof on (restored) Broer Kerk monument with artistic statue of bat worth a visit.
