This is a perfectly fine hotel. It’s not great, but it’s not bad. It’s older and feels that way. But it’s clean and quiet and close to everything in Boone. The employee at the front desk seemed to hate her job and I actively avoided her, not that she made any effort to seem approachable or remotely welcoming. The breakfast is not good but, again, not bad. I chose to eat offsite because there were no options for my dietary needs. Overall, it’s fine. I would stay again but probably not for a long period of time. For a night, on a weekday, it was fine.

First we asked the desk staff for a valet cart and she said they didn’t have one. Then we saw two carts while we were there!
There were long hairs on the shower wall that were there previously and mold in the shower. There was no maid service on our two night stay and that was not advertised. Our room key only worked on the 3rd or 4th try each time.
Our refrigerator had ice 3 inches thick on the freezer and we asked to have it exchanged but it never happened.
I am a Boone native and was there to visit my mom and family. But I will not be back to this hotel. Would never recommend!!

We had a small issue with the A/C unit, the front desk moved us to a new room immediately. The quick response was wonderful.
