I will say the main part of the house is very nice. However, the "ground floor" rooms are just the basement. These rooms are not attractive at all or very comfortable. The floor is some type of textured floor you find in a garage with some runners over them. It smells musty, like you would expect in a basement. It is a VERY small room that doesn't seem as well cared for as the rest of the house. They talk about ADA, but you still have to walk up stairs to get your self-serve breakfast. It just seems like a lot of money to stay in a basement. Just be aware you are not getting a typical Bed and Breakfast stay if you stay on the "ground floor." It feels more like a cheap road side motel.

The inn is located close to downtown with its restaurants and shops. Perched on a hill overlooking the harbor, it offered excellent views. The staff at the Inn went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We were impressed by the rooms and the extensive plantings on the balconies that made breakfasts outside especially nice. The breakfast itself changed every day and was delicious.

We were very happy with our stay at Harbour Towne Inn! It's a good location, with plenty of parking behind the inn. We easily walked to the shops. Our room was handicap accessible and worked well for us. The inn decor is lovely, and breakfast was superb, with fresh quiche, muffins, fruit and more.

Stefanie (the owner/manager) presents a fantastic experience in a perfect location! Amazing chef to boot! I highly recommend! 7-minute walk to village and great shops and 9-minute drive to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (which are the best in New England if you love nature.

We had a wonderful stay here. Accommodations and location could not have been better! And breakfast was delicious each day. Boothbay Harbor is a lovely town and well worth a visit. HarbourTowne Inn is easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants and attractions.

Oh my, where do I start! The atmosphere around us was quiet, relaxing and beautifully covered with plants and flowers. The early morning birds added that special affect. Restaurants and attractions were were all walking distance from us. This trip was definitely plan for us.

Best ever. This is the second time we stayed here. Will definitely be back. The host serves a wonderful homemade from scratch breakfast every morning. Room (11) was clean and comfortable. Long way from AZ but we love it!!! Added a picture of us on the nice dock right on the water.

Just love everything about this beautiful B&B. The room (#11) was so quiet. The bed was so comfy. Even had down pillows. Breakfast is the best. And then there are the warm cookies in the afternoon. Oh My. The deck is a great place to read a good book. And the dock is the place to have a cocktail and watch the tide come in and go out. So close to so many restaurants and local vendors shops. Just a perfect place to relax.

I stayed recently at the Boothbay Harbor Town Inn during June 2024. I have stayed in the Inn on several occasions. I have found the rooms consistently to be clean, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast is excellent and special dietary requests are accommodated. The fact that the Inn is on the water and is within walking distance to the shops in Boothbay Harbor are an added plus to the gorgeous flowers and interior decor of the Inn. The staff and the and the owner, pay careful attention to detail and are our most gracious and welcoming to their guests.
