Supernice and supergood hotel, marvelous room and central downtown location. Normally i book rooms in the 100-150E range. I decided to go a bit more luxurious and i tremendously enjoyed it. Im an easy going traveler, i was i Bordeaux to assess architecture and urbanism projects. I rented a bike to go around the city. The hotel staff is very naturel an friendly, no rush to empty your wallet but rather making sure you have a great time... Best hotel experience i had i a lon time travelling the globe. Wholeheartedly recommended!! Bordeaux is the best French City!

A delightful hotel with extremely attentive staff, great quality beds and linen and a fabulous big walk-in shower. The staff really go out of their way to make your trip memorable and comfortable.

Beautiful, heated and clean swimming pool, good place to relax

A very cost-effective hotel, the service team is enthusiastic and professional, and it's a great stay experience. The hotel is in a quiet alley not far from the downtown area, and the environment is very good. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

It deserves five stars. Compared with Paris hotels, it is cost-effective. Although it is not in the center of Bordeaux, the city itself is not big. You can walk anywhere. The hotel has authentic French food for dinner and first-class service. I am very satisfied.

The price of the newly renovated hotel in 2018 is similar to that of InterContinental. I chose this hotel because of the decoration style. The result is that the experience of an express hotel is not good, the soundproofing is not good, the room is not big, and the accommodation experience is very poor. The decoration of InterContinental is old. I will choose InterContinental next time. The location is inconvenient and very It’s troublesome. It’s very convenient to eat and walk in the city center.

Spent 7 days at Le Palais Gallien Hotel whilst visiting Bordeaux for the first time. Exceptional city visit and exceptional hotel. We chose this hotel because it had an outside swimming pool, and we were then able to organise our holiday around the weather - which was a mix of big sunshine and cloudy (sometimes showery) days. What was particular about this hotel in comparison to many others that we have stayed at was the quality of the staff. They were exceptional in every sense of the word. Nothing was too much bother for them. Front desk, restaurant, pool area and terrace bar were all supported by friendly, helpful staff. They really couldn't have done much more for us. Our Garden Terrace room overlooking the pool was very welcoming and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Wonderful super-king beds. Just perfect. The hotel is situated 10-15 minutes walk from all that Bordeaux has to offer - which suited us just fine. If we ever come back to Bordeaux, then I wouldn't hesitate to return to Le Palais Gallien Hotel. Thank you to all the wonderful staff we encountered during our visit, and thank you for the complimentary drinks and chocolate. You made it very special.

From start to finish a perfect French stay. The staff could not have been more helpful, exceptionally personable and efficient. They truly make the stay even more special. Our room was exactly what we look for when we stay somewhere, sympathetic nods to the building’s history & character with all the modern comforts! Whenever we stay anywhere the location & surroundings are obviously a huge deciding factor but staff makes the entire experience & here they truly excel!

A wonderfully charming property not far from restaurants and tourist attractions in Bordeaux. The friendly staff gave us perfect recommendations for meals and tourist activities in Bordeaux and Arcachon. They even secured a restaurant reservation in the next city we visited! The heated pool is a nice place to relax and the gourmet restaurant was very enjoyable. We’ll visit again!

Fabulous oasis in Bordeaux with v helpful staff and very comfortable beds ! Amazing breakfast too . I stayed with my 15 year old son and the staff were great at recommending restaurants that he might like . We used the gym too which is small but well equipped. Lovely stay.

Staff were most welcoming, helpful ane fabulous in every way . Room including linens, bed, walk-in shower were superb. Breakfast buffet service, quality and variety of the offerings were excellent. We strongly recommend this hotel and will certainly return.

The hotel is obviously gorgeous and the rooms were VERY clean, modern but also comfortable and quiet. The tub in the room is to die for. It is just so thoughtfully updated. In addition to being a beautiful place and in an awesome location, the Palais Gallien team couldn’t have been more helpful. Their kindness really made our stay. They helped us book restaurants and make suggestions for places to go. Without them we really would have been lost. They truly went above and beyond from the time of booking, to even after we checked out and needed their help with a travel emergency as we headed home.

Le Palais Gallien was an incredible hotel in Bordeaux. Very clean, classy and the staff was top notch! Very helpful and insightful on everything we wanted to do. Helped with setting up reservations everywhere and just friendly. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the property and had a wonderful experience. The property was beautiful, the room very comfortable, the restaurant top-notch, the spa delightful, and the entire staff made the experience memorable. Great recommendations for experiences within the city, too. Really appreciate all the support from Mattis helping us coordinate an incredible wine tour.
