The Whitney Hotel is one our favorite boutique hotels we have stayed in, The location is perfectly located in Beacon Hill district. Beacon Hill is a very charming place close to the cities neighborhoods, stores, restaurants, and parks to take a peaceful stroll through. Easy access to the Charles River for people who like to walk or ride their bicycles. Centrally located to much of Boston by foot following the freedom trail for amazing history lesson. Customer service is top notch. Kamil made our stay a very pleasant stay. The overall staff at the Whitney is ready to support with kindness. It was truly amazing place to stay! We will be back!

Home away from Home. When in Boston we always stay at The Whitney where the staff remembers us and meets all of our needs. The beds, linens, and amenities are excellent. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The location is historic and walking distance to most everything Bostonian. The staff make this beautiful and luxurious property one to remember and the reason we return. This is one of our top boutique hotels, anywhere.

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming and elegant boutique hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service (Joyce Chin) was exceptional, making both us and our furry friend feel completely at home. The room was luxurious, with thoughtful touches throughout, including the clean and delicious Grown Alchemist spa bath products that added an extra layer of indulgence. The hotel perfectly blends comfort and sophistication, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking for pet-friendly accommodations without sacrificing style or luxury. Highly recommend!

The Whitney Hotel is a charming and elegant retreat nestled in the Beacon Hill area of Boston. The atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated, and the hotel itself is extremely comfortable and quiet. I travel to Boston at least twice a year and have stayed at many different hotels. This latest trip will make me a one hotel customer. The Whitney Hotel is the best hotel in Boston and I lived in eastern Massachusetts for over 70 years. My recent two week stay was the best service ever from Jacquiline, Kamil, Eliot, Daryna, Rob and Tim. Please give this hotel a try as I know you will be impressed. I'll be there in the future and will stay no place else!

The Whitney Hotel has to be my favorite place to stay in Boston! The location is exceptional - Beacon Hill is the most charming of the city's neighborhoods, with restaurants, shopping, and access to the Charles River for walkers and runners alike. It is also central enough to make much of Boston accessible on foot - with rooms that are peaceful despite the bustle nearby. In terms of service, Joyce, Elliott, and Omar went above and beyond in kindness and stewardship. They are at the ready to support your visit be it your first time to Boston or your regular homecoming. What a joy to stay here!

This hotel is an excellent boutique hotel very well positioned on Charles Street adjacent to the very attractive Beacon Hill area. The rooms are well appointed the beds are exceptionally comfortable - would love to take the mattress home, but too difficult as I am UK based. The bathrooms have large bottles of Grown Alchemist products I hadn't heard of them before, they are very nice indeed. The one small criticism would be the power of the showers are a little disappointing they could do with turning up the power. The staff are attentive and very friendly a special shout out to Joyce, Elliot, Russella and Daryna they are a credit to the hotel. Thanks for making our stay.

We had a very relaxing stay at the Whitney. I loved everything about this hotel. It has it all. Valet parking , friendly and extremely helpful staff, a beautiful well appointed room, and excellent food. We will definitely return on our next visit to Boston!

Having stayed at the Whitney on a prior business trip, I already valued the location at the bottom of Beacon Hill near Storrow Drive on Charles St. This was echoed during our stay by several Uber drivers during our 4-night stay ended 9/15/24. It's a minutes-walk away from excellent dining (breakfast at Tatte's on Charles and dinner at 75 Chestnut), and a quick drive to dinner at Row 34 in Cambridge - all highly recommended. The proximity to shopping on Newbury St. was key for my wife during my business duties. The Whitney is charming with a lovely outdoor courtyard and a comfortable bar with breakfast service. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the fine interior room finishes are proper for the price point. But manager Joyce is running a brilliantly pleasant team which is the story underlying my review. The front desk was beyond polite with name memory and conversation. Elliott was immediately interactive and always welcoming every time we returned. Tim was sincere and professional, and Davyna was attentive and interested in the stories of our visit. Steven at the bar spun warm stories with his warm British accent. Bravo, Joyce.
