Great staff, very clean. Was skeptical when I read ”bathroom down the hall” but was pleasantly surprised by everything! For not having a bathroom in the room or pool STILL 10/10 I absolutely plan to be back soon! Might rent a whole floor with our couples friends

From check in to check out, and everything in between, this is a great hotel. Wonderful location, spacious rooms and a staff who executes great customer service at a time when most teams seem to be quite lacking in such. Well done!

You can choose the room direction and floor when you check in, which is great. The room is not big and is suitable for one person. The mattress is amazing, the firmness is just right, I hate those very soft mattresses. The breakfast is great. The location is good, there is a subway station and bus station downstairs, and you can walk to MIT. All aspects of service are great, very satisfied.

The location of this hostel is amazing! I stayed there for two nights in a six bed female dorm. The sheets were fresh and the hostel clean. Looking at some reviews here please keep something in mind: This is a hostel with a lot of people going in and out. Boston is an expensive city and you can’t find hotels in that location for less that $300-400 a night during busy seasons. So while this hostel might seem expensive at first, it is relatively cheap in comparison to hotels. Also consider the taxes. My bed was $69 but after tax, membership and all, I came close to a $100. Also, you’ll be sharing a room. There will be people coming in and out….what else would you expect? Earplugs and eyeshades go a long way. People come to Boston for different reasons, so they won’t be on the same schedule as you! However I thought everyone did great sticking to the quite times from 11-7. The mornings can get busy using the bathrooms, so plan accordingly. I thought it was a really cool place where you could work to many sights! I am glad I stayed there and saved myself from getting expensive hotels. Instead I used the saved money to explore the city’s sights, great coffees and delicious restaurants! Great stay!

I stayed in female dormitory. Overall I love it. It was clean & just what I needed, a safe place to sleep. They only opened a few weeks ago & are working through some kinks but they are very accommodating. Upon check in- they do ask for a selfie picture on their iPad for security reasons. No one is allowed in without a reservation. My dormitory had pods & bunks. I stayed on a lower bunk. There is storage for luggage under each pod/bunk. Inside your sleeping area, you have controls for a fan, light, & bed incline (my incline didn’t work but I was too tired to care). You have an outlet with USB port to charge devices. There is also a shelf & wall net organizer for your things. Every bed had an adjustable privacy blind, pillow, mattress sheet & blanket. On my floor, there were 4 bathrooms with showers. They provide towels. The 7th floor lounge is still under construction but there is a small reception area in the lobby & that’s where I sat to work on a few things & eat. The location is great; Near the north station. I walked to Boston Common without any issues. My suggestion would be to issue guests common courtesy expectations such as: Flush the toilet if the sensor doesn’t do it for you (or instal urinals for men) Leave shower/bathroom clean for next guest. If you must talk on the phone go out in the hall or to lobby - shared rooms are quiet areas. People are sleeping even during the day.

Boston, MA… It is one of those cities where you ask yourself why aren’t you living here. Home to many well-known colleges, the arcs of the American Revolution, and everything that’s unique to the New England region of America. Tourists, college families, and businessmen flock the old fashion streets from many competitive accommodations in the Boston area. The Kimpton Nine Zero Hotel is a Boutique Luxury Hotel located razor close to the Boston Common. Given the mixed reviews I read before my stay, I was quite skeptical about staying at this hotel. I could have chosen any other hotel like my comfort brand the InterContinental, but I was on budget and couldn’t use my Ambassador Complimentary Weekend Night there. Therefore, I decided to risk it by staying here for my two nights in Boston. My first ever trip to Boston took place between September 29th to October 1st. As the Diamond Elite Ambassador Member, I booked the 1 King Premium Room, but was later upgraded upon arrival to the 1 King Premium Skyline Corner View Room upon my arrival. The room costed $660 for two nights after a deduction of my Ambassador Complimentary Weekend Night Voucher. After a quick subway ride from Logan Airport, I made the 10 minute walk to the hotel from the State Station. After walking into the casual, posh, yet vibrant hotel lobby, I was welcomed by Liz. Liz briefed me on my room upgrade, the Kimpton hotel features such as the Better Sorts Social Club restaurant, and the daily hotel traditions at Kimpton like the Morning Coffee Table or Social Wine Hour. I had a very nice experience checking-in with Liz. Down the cozy looking hall, through the posh elevator, up 15 levels is my room 1605. As mentioned it the Skyline View Corner Premium King Room. The size of the room is at 350 SQFT or 32 SQM. To me it is a room size comfortably sufficient for two people. In this corner room when you enter the door is the minibar table and bathroom containing a Toto Toilet, Sink, and Spa Shower with Atelier Bloem Shower Supplies. Through the wooden floored hallways is a nice closet, followed by the bedroom itself. The bedroom contains the Comfortable King Bed, an oversized desk, a TV, a leather chair and ottoman. The corner view shows the Boston Common on one angle, and the other shows Paul Revere’s Graveyard. The overall design of the room is like a cozy modern study hall, except with the hotel room features. I do like this room and its features. One thing to improve on for future reference is to start replacing the COVID-era plastic cups at the sinks with real glass cups. I think that’s something the hotel should do to bring it a step towards absolute perfection. Making sure your stay is up to your perception of perfection would be the Assistant General Manager Michael. Micheal is not someone I actually met in person, rather he (or someone who relives him on off-shift hours) hides behind a cellphone standing by as your asynchronous butler via text message. When you drive 8+ hours and your car is full of luggage and boxes (family wedding), the mere thought of unloading the car and getting it all up to your room is exhausting. All we did was check in and the team of bellmen took over. We never touched a single piece until it was in our room. The morning coffee and bananas in the lobby were perfect as we ran out the door for a full day of wedding-related activities. We never walked past a hotel associate - housekeepers, bellmen, concierges, reception desk - without being met with a friendly smile and a greeting. The location of the hotel was ideal. It’s right at the Boston Marathon finish line. (The memorial to the bombing was kitty corner from the hotel) Plenty of restaurants within walking distance to choose from. We did have someone in our group thought they had forgotten something in the room after they checked out. They called the hotel and rather than entering the “black hole” of “lost and found”, she received phone calls from the head of housekeeping stating she had alerted the laundry service to be on the lookout. (It was subsequently found at home) Our next stay at The Lenox can’t come soon enough!

We had a wonderful visit. We stayed from a Friday to Monday. The hotel staff was super nice and helpful. Our plane arrived at 8 am so we knew it was too early to check in. The staff kindly took our luggage and stored it for us. Luckily we were able to check in around noon. We headed to our room and it was adorable. We had a small issue with our hvac making a noise and as soon as we told the staff not even 10 mins someone was up to fix it. We could not have asked for a better hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location, connected to the shopping mall, making it convenient for shopping. Downstairs is the Public Library. There is no buffet breakfast in the hotel. If you want to eat, you need to order a la carte. The Destination Fee of $30 per day can be used for breakfast. It is not enough for two people.

Great accommodation for solo traveler or couple. Good location and clean. The location of the hotel couldn’t get any better. It’s right on top of North Station, which is a great station that has many lines to connect you to Boston and other parts of Massachusetts. It’s also a great location if you’re going to an event at the TD Garden. There is a food hall and market next door, so you don’t need to go far if you want a quick bite. Check in starts at 2pm. There are multiple kiosks to do a self check in, but there are hotel employees available if you need help. The rooms are a good size for 2 people. They utilize the space underneath the bed as bag storage. The room is smart and everything is controlled by an iPad provided in the room or via an app on your smartphone. There is a small fridge that was perfect for my water and snacks. I also loved the rainfall shower! I really enjoyed this hotel brand and would stay again at this location or any of their other locations across the world.
