We stayed the weekend before Easter. We arrived on a Friday and the Louvre was open until 9.30pm, when we left we went to dinner. We arrived at the hotel at 11.30pm. At 11.35pm a man came to tell us that we were making too much noise, which is not true, the problem is that the rooms are poorly soundproofed and the lights in the room did not work when we opened them, so we made more noise trying to figure out how to turn the lights on. The next day the owner of the hotel accused us of arriving drunk and threatened to throw us out. I don't know why he believed the other tenant and not us, maybe it's a question of racism or classism... And on the other hand, we didn't come from Spain to drink in France, that's why I'm staying in my country. We are a teacher, a police officer, a high-speed train driver and an administrator, we are old enough and have enough knowledge to behave ourselves. The rooms are dirty, you can see it in the pictures, we found used tissues under the bed and the carpet was scary to look at, there is no shower curtain and the windows do not work well, the furniture is damaged and the mini kitchen is better not to be used. The sofa was also dirty as you can see and one of the beds made so much noise that you could not stop breathing while sleeping. In short, if you are so worried about noise you should soundproof the rooms better and of course not take the version of some tenants as true over others, because it stinks of racism. The location is simply not in Paris but there is a metro nearby, approximately 30 minutes from the center.
