The Chocolate Box Hotel

The room was bright and clean. Furniture and furnishings were in very good condition. The bathroom was clean and more functional - showers was very narrow to stand in. Overalla very pleasant place to stay for a few days.

Surround area needs attention - clear up and cleaning. Internally the theme and colour schemes are great but the rooms are tired and need some TLC. The breakfast and breakfast room are excellent, however there has been a reduction in the amount of chocolates provided in the room and at reception compared to our previous visit.

Friendly kind helpful staff. Compact boutique room. Nice comfortable bed. Very quiet. Extremely clean. Lovely food and good variety for breakfast. Nothing to fault. Definitely would return.

We stayed last night for one night and were absolutely delighted with our room. We chose two single beds. The beds were so comfortable. The pillows were divine, and it made me smile when I settled down to sleep!. Sheets were fresh and felt expensive. The room and bathroom were utterly spotless and the room smelt so fresh. There were tea and coffee making facilities, with a lovely selection of nice Dorset teas. Lovely little touch of some cookies in a mini kilner jar and some celebrations in a glass jar. Fabulous air con too!The lady in reception was very friendly. Fantastic location, 5 mins from the beach, and some lovely restaurants close by. High recommended, and would stay again, without hesitation. Wonderful!

The hotel was clean but dated, the staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom although the shower cubical was very small . Our bedding was good and the tea and coffee faculties were ok , But i would expect a hotel named the "Chocolate box" to offer more than 2 x celebrations chocolates (twix @ malteser) as a welcome gift ! The door to the room was binding on the frame and you had to give it a big pull or push to open or close it Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked with good options and parking was great

Lovely small hotel. Small room perfectly adequate for one person. Very comfortable bed and pillows, great water pressure and hot water in shower. Good breakfast. Just a pity there were no chocolates in my room.. but this didn’t detract from a great stay would recommend.

Lovely hotel Great location for all amenities Clean comfortable and a fantastic breakfast in the morning Used the hop (pub) just a stone’s throw away that was great and had a meal in the Indian next door Shops 5 minutes walk away Only minus point was the car park which is small first come first served Overall a great place to stay

There are only 3 things I need in a hotel … peace, a warm/soft bed and a hot shower and the Chocolate Box knocked them all out of the park. And having endured a horrible journey (marooned at a train station for three hours) the complimentary chocolates and biscuits put a smile on our face! The hotel was incredibly peaceful and only 5 minutes from everything we could want in Bournemouth!
