The Old New Inn

Very good location in the town, just near the model village, hotel guest can get free tickets for the village. Breakfast is great. Staff are quite friendly and nice. Car parking made a few confused, carpark is very limited at daytime, and you need to pay for carpark for hole day because car park is operated by the same company. A lot of cute bees flying around the hotel, some will fly into the room, you may need to shut the window…hah!

Good night's sleep in a pleasant first floor room. Very comfortable bed with a deep mattress. Lovely dinner the night before and a decent 'full English' for breakfast. Visit was to make arrangements for a Sunday lunch for over 30 people. A little on the pricey side but Bourton on the Water is a honeypot village. Although very quiet when we were there. Parking charges apply all the time. £7.50 for our overnight stay.

This is a beautiful old inn in an absolutely stunning location. The room was really lovely, everything was clean and comfortable and the selection of tea and coffee was great with thoughtful touches like a bottle of fresh milk and cold water in the mini fridge. For breakfast there was a great selection and the food was all delicious. All of the staff I met were lovely and went above and beyond to be helpful. This was easily one of my favourite stays in the UK and I look forward to coming back.

Had a fantastic visit at the Old New Inn while visiting the Cotswolds. Extremely charming old historical building, also with appropriate modern upgrades in the rooms. Perfect location, right on the stream, easily walkable to everything, but just enough outside of the main tourist ***** to feel quiet and peaceful. And what an incredibly charming town!The pub/restaurant was excellent, with a cozy, romantic interior, as well as lots of nice outdoor seating. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again.

Very lovely rooms and a great location for exploring the beautiful town of Bourton on the Water. The rooms have been tastefully updated to a contemporary style with consideration of the buildings heritage. Bed was super comfortable and our room (#1) had a separate sitting and TV room which I liked. The shower was fantastic with great water pressure. Tea and coffee facilities were equipped with better than average options including cookies and fresh milk in the little room fridge. Parking was available and we got 24hr parking for one small charge which was fabulous in such a tourist hot spot. A stay at the inn includes free entrance to the model Village which was so quaint. We were able to leave our car parked the next morning after check out and explore the town further. On the downside this is an inn rather than a full hotel and as such has a limited reception and staff. Check in is between 3-6pm and only one room key (an actual key) is available. The room key includes a key to the inn’s front door which is locked after 6pm. The bar service was great (very friendly staff) but the evening food options in the hotel restaurant were limited and not really to my taste (grilled oxtail, courgette soup, Swede). However - breakfast was fantastic and worth adding to the room charge. I had eggs Benedict and it was delicious!!! I would definitely stay here again.

Even though I live and work in village and walk past every day I have never eaten here,luckily that has now changed. Our summer work outing was held here at the wine tasting event. What can I say,the food was incredible,as was the service. I have told all my neighbours and we are looking forward to visiting for 1 of our monthly luncheons.
