Such a pleasant surprise ! Spacious, clean room, even the windows were clean !!!!! Lovely, serene green view out the back decent sized pool out the front. Karen , managing this motel, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Traffic on main road an issue for me, light sleeper, my husband didn't hear a thing. Ear plugs came in handy but over all I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It will be terrific when their new signage is erected. Bowen Arrow to Birch Motel.

This place has changed it name now BIRCH MOTEL BOWEN is not changed on gos which is confusing Lovely owner great pool. Very clean and dark at night. Beds were comfirtable but watch step up to shower. Wiuld stay again

This motel is as honest as it gets, it’s older in age but that definitely doesn’t make it no good, it’s on a highway but that doesn’t make it no good, it’s basic but that doesn’t make it no good. In fact there’s nothing that makes it no good. It is fresh, clean, well laid out, easy access, cool with a nice breeze & warm with sufficient aircon. Not cramped for space, comfortable beds, all amenities req like kettle, toaster, soaps, towels etc. the staff are very friendly and honest. It was a surprise just how it is. After staying around the country in expensive hotels it was so good to see this. If you like flashy art works, glass sculptures and all the s hit & glitter you can find this isn’t for you. If your looking for something clean, easy, quite and friendly definitely check it out.

Good motel right on the highway plenty of room for trailer parking and dog friendly. Fantastic grass area outside of room to allow our little dog to have a stretch. Very easy to access for travellers. There is a cost of $10 per night extra for the dog.

This hotel is right on the highway and I stopped on my way to Rockhampton And I am glad I did The hotel was a good price and very clean A comfortable bed and big rooms And friendly service Good for a quick stop over night Thank you
