Worst hotel, bar none. Such an expensive room costs only 2,000 yuan, and the patio room I stayed in was the only one, which is a complete form of discrimination. The breakfast is extremely unpalatable, there is nothing around, and you need to drive yourself. The dinner in the hotel is also the most unpalatable and not cheap. Very disappointed, the fat man at the hotel front desk had a bad attitude, and the child needed an extra 35 pounds a day. When checking out, you will be charged service fee and lake area management fee by default, which is really bad.

The entrance of the hotel is very beautiful, but it is actually not a hotel, it should belong to a homestay. Poor hygiene and poor service attitude. I am a family driving by myself. When I arrived, I saw the environment in a happy mood. When I entered the front desk, I smiled and greeted the main station. The other party looked at me and ignored me. They were busy with their own affairs before talking to me. It was the first time I met, I felt a little rude , The whole process pulls his face and talks. In addition, I booked a family room. The details introduce that children are welcome to stay, and it is useless to show that there is an additional charge. But when I checked in, I charged an extra 70 pounds a night, and I will definitely not stay here next time. (The springs on the bed are all broken, and the bed is full of bumps and pits. Maybe the skin is sensitive. When you see the room is not clean, you will feel itchy all over your body)

First of all, I must like the design of this small hotel. It has a great sense of design. It is located in the lake area not too close to the lake. It is very quiet and the garden is very delicate. It is also very convenient to walk to the nearby lake for about 20 minutes. You need to make a reservation for dinner. It’s still dark at 10:30, so you can walk to the center of town to eat pizza. There is free parking, which is really nice.

Property in a good position and well looked after Inside clean and well functioning. Staff need to be a little more motivated, they looked a little fed up from the receptionist to the staff in the restaurant but food was excellent!!!

Had a lovely overnight stay at Lindeth Howe. Lovely country house hotel retaining grandeur of past days but up to date with modern slant and facilities. Interior decor fantastic, very homely and warm. Rooms great and dinning room lovely with magnificent views. Will definitely come back here.

Nice upmarket hotel, great bar and dining facility. Short 15 min walk into town or to ferry. EV chargers x 4 in car park.

This is a lovely country house hotel, with friendly staff (John gets a shout out for a particularly welcoming check in experience). Nicely out of the centre of Bowness, but closeby, it has large bedrooms, pleasant bar area, and beautiful gardens. Breakfast and evening meals also very good. Much better value for money than now more pretentious near neighbours

We loved the location and the facility. It is beautiful. Everyone was nice, but they seemed short staffed on the 2 nights we were there. The dinner meal was not good, but the breakfast was excellent.

Nice but lacking atmosphere.

A gem of a place. Tucked away just outside Bowness this hotel is beautiful. Check in was very quick and efficient. We were early but our room was ready which was a real bonus. We had a family room which was spacious with all the amenities you would expect and don’t always get. We were at a family get together so didn’t dine at the restaurant in the evening. We had breakfast which was absolutely delicious and kept us going for the rest of the day! The staff were all really friendly and helpful. A great find.
