We had our wedding here at the end of June and it was awesome. We booked it six months earlier as they had a deal going for us. The whole venue was amazing as were food and the staff. Special thanks to James the general manager and Susie the deputy Manager. They really made it a day to remember.

This is a gorgeous historic property that really retained all that I would hope for of its original character. Truly enchanting in beautiful Wiltshire a stone's throw from Bath.

We held our wedding at the moonraker and my word was everything just perfect. The staff couldn't be anymore helpful and attentive!! Our wedding breakfast was delicious, everyone loved it. Every single thing I wanted to happen did!! The only issue we did have, was people's names for the room allocation were spelt wrong/completely different to their names. Which caused alot of confusion and I did have guests coming up to me about it which caused me a little bit of stress prior to walking down the isle. But other than that. Absolutely fantastic and the grounds are stunning for photos!!

Lovely accomadation and grounds of the hotel, however the downfall of the hotel is the bed is very uncomfortable as you could feel the springs through the mattress. Had to put extra blankets on bed for comfort. Lots of free parking available.

Wonderful hotel with lots of character. I was given room 1. Lovely room with a beamed ceiling. The bathroom had a huge clawed bath with a shower over. To get to the living area there are a small number of steps up. The room looks out over a field, lovely views across the countryside. Lovely and quiet. Nice evening meal and breakfast although a touch pricey. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Will definitely stay here again.

We were allocated a dark room with steps up to a dais in the corner on which sat the bed surrounded by a guard rail. A nightmare for someone like me who makes frequent trips to the wc during the night. On complaining, we were changed to a large bright and clean room in a separate block with a comfortable super king size bed. The bath was useable in spite of the 3 black surface stains. Food pricing was confusing. The DB &B rates included only a continental breakfast and there were supplements for some dinner dishes, although we had been told that we could choose any 2 items from the a la cart menu. The food was good and the wine was very reasonably priced. Would we eat there again? certainly. would we stay there again? unlikely.

The feel of the hotel was welcoming, warm and very comfortable. A little tired looking but to be honest added to the charm. Spotlessly clean. The staff namely Charlotte and Harvey greeted us and couldn’t do enough for us. They are a credit to the hotel and it is rare these days to find exceptional Customer Service. The food also exceptional. Every course a real delight. We will be back and our sincere thanks for a really special time there!

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Moonraker Hotel in February 2024 and we can honestly say it was the most perfect day from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond from the moment we decided to have our wedding at their venue. A massive credit to James, Suzie and Carisma who put us at ease every time we visited and on any query we had. There was also a lovely barman/waiter (cannot remember his name, sorry!) who served us at our taster and also on our big day, we had a couple of fussy eaters and nothing was too much trouble, so thank you to you also! If we could re-do the day we absolutely would!! The only thing we’d change is to of had the ceremony recorded but this was an us issue not the hotels. Food is always outstanding whether it’s an evening meal for a treat or on our day and the staff are extremely friendly. The rooms are lovely and whilst some need a little updating this is no reflection on how comfy the beds are! Thank you for making our day so special!! Aimee and Ashley.
