This has a wonderful stay here. New Year’s Eve for 3 nights All staff, from reception, restaurant and bar all lovely, attentive, helpful and caring Food, and I eat out a lot, was really good, the fish and chips, halloumi burger to die for. Breakfast also extremely good. Smallish menu which tells you it’s all cooked from fresh. Highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay. The Inn is cozy and clean and treated our dogs like they were part of the family. Food was delicious, and staff were great!

We were so looking forward to a return visit after coming here earlier in the year. We met with family for a pre-Christmas lunch. Whilst the food was reasonable it was nothing special, not as good as last time. We had our two dogs with us and they didn’t receive the fuss they normally do, they missed Katie for their cuddles and treats. There appears to have been a great deal of staff changes since our last visits, detriment to the atmosphere of the place, we are used to helpful, smiley faces but not this time, the staff appeared to be there because they had no choice than to be, a smile goes a long way ! A woman, possibly a Manager, seemed good at dishing out orders to other members of staff but seemed to be doing very little herself ! After many visits in the past, would we return, probably not !

Excellent Sunday roast. Friendly staff. Pleasant environment. I will go back. If I need a room in the area I would certainly consider the bell. It’s right by a golf course and near lovely walks. There is even a boot wash that can be used to wash muddy dogs too.

We had a lovely time staying there over the past couple of days at last minute, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very tasty as well. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor especially the Christmas decorations. One issue we did have was the temperature in the shower, in which was a little tepid.

A great weekend away. We were able to check in early as the rooms were ready. We love the lounge with its comfy sofas. The bar area had a roaring fire which made everything very cosy. Food and service amazing as always . We will be back .

My family stayed overnight at The Bell Inn, New Forest, in order to celebrate a birthday. We were warmly received on arrival, and were informed that all of our rooms had been upgraded, which was very much appreciated! The breakfast was generous and delicious, and we were able to use the warm and spacious lounge to play games in on the Saturday evening. The lounge had been decorated for Christmas, with a tree and beautiful lighting.
