GgenewiloMy partner and I have just returned to the United Kingdom after having a trip to Europe, the final destination of our travels was at the very beautiful and picturesque hotel. The hotel is very well situated to river and minutes away from the Old Town. The interior is beautiful and the decor clearly reflects the reason why it’s a highly rated hotel. Our room was situated on the second floor and there is a lift for those who overindulge in the cuisine or infamous Slovak wines 😁 the staff are all smarty presented in their appearance and polite, the breakfast is varied and it is self service even the hot/cold drinks, so please bare that in mind if you’re mobility is restricted when dining in the restaurant for breakfast. The only negative I can recall, and this is no reflection of the hotel, the hospitality or staff as it was “other guests” having no consideration for guests still in their slumber or at least trying to be. Guests would allow their room doors to slam closed and guests would talk loudly on the corridor throughout the evening/night/morning. So next time I’d probably request a room on the top floor to avoid the inconsiderate guests 👍

KKellen YOverview: nice and super big rooms!
Location: centrally located, 10-15 mins walking distance to most attractions like Bratislava Castle, Old Town Hall, Michael’s Gate etc, tram stations just within 2 mins away!
Breakfast: good choice, particularly impressed when they extended the ending time by 10 mins on a Sunday as there were a lot of new guests the night before who might not have been aware of the ending time!
Service: nice and friendly staff!
Cleanliness: spotless from what I can see which is nice!
Rooms: I thought I was staying in a flat for a second, super big and roomy, with sofa, a separate living area, impressive!
Facilities: good gym, but the sauna costs a bit which is unexpected (and rare, consider it is a decent 4*…) so didn’t use it, and the lobby was a bit dim when I checked in at night, but not a major issue.

GGuest UserThe room was comfortable, it had a mini fridge, tea & coffee with kettle, great night blinds. Even though there were instructions, I still had difficulty in using the TV. Breakfast was excellent, it just that no staff were around. Location was perfect.

BBennyI didn't know it was a Starwood hotel when I booked, so the quality was still guaranteed! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was very rich and very satisfied! The only downside is that it is a bit far from the old town, but it is good to walk along the Danube for more than 10 minutes!

I highly recommend the sauna in the hotel, and the breakfast is great. The location is also good, with walking distance to the main tourist places. There is a bus that goes to the airport directly. The receptionist is very friendly!
I wound stay again when I visit Bratislava next time.

First, the positives:

Everything would honestly be perfect… BUT there is one massive problem. 🚨
The sanitary conditions here are absolutely unacceptable. In my opinion, health and safety authorities should seriously inspect this place. It’s unbelievable that on one entire floor — with what felt like 100–200 male guests staying there at the same time — there is ONLY ONE toilet. And that toilet is tiny, almost like an airplane bathroom… actually even less comfortable than on a plane. ✈️🚽
I have traveled a lot around the world and I have NEVER seen something like this before. One toilet for an entire hostel floor is simply shocking and completely unreasonable.
Without this issue, I would have gladly recommended this hostel, because many things are really good. But basic sanitary facilities are essential, and unfortunately because of this I cannot recommend this place and I will never come back. ❌

GGuest UserThe location was great, with just a few minutes’ walk into the old town and very easy access to most other areas of the city.
The apartment was clean and a good size, with all amenities in working order.
There is a simple kitchen in the apartment, which includes a basic hob, kettle, and fridge.
On the third floor of the building, there is also a large shared kitchen that guests can use. It has larger hobs, an oven, a microwave, and a large fridge/freezer for storing items. This area also has tables, chairs, and a TV, so you can relax outside of your room. This room also has a free bean-to-cup coffee machine, which can save you a lot of money.
A large washer and dryer are also available to use for around €2 each.
Reception team was friendly and approachable at all times
They are several supermarkets nearby and local bakery

DduguguirenIt takes 15 minutes to walk from the bus station. The hotel looks somewhere between classic and modern. The corridor layout and elevator style are refreshing.
The booking says 8 square meters, but it feels much more than that. A very large bed doesn't feel crowded. There is air conditioning, which is the first time I have seen it during this trip to the five Central European countries. Although there is no bottled water, there is a kettle. The shower room is the largest I have seen in a 3-star hotel, and the water is particularly smooth.

GGuest UserWhy not many reviews?? This is a not very expensive, impressive,clean experience in europe. Also position of hotel is not that bad. You can feel like local people! Nature friendly but not many beetles. It is safe from bedbugs ! Also breakfast is excellent.
후기 왤케 적죠? 그리 안비싸고,깨끗하고 괜찮아요. 유럽의 숙소중에선 꽤나 좋았고, 위치도 그렇게 안나빠요. 걷는거 좋아하시거나 다뉴브강,브라티슬라바 성 근처고 로컬감성 느끼기 좋습니다. 빈대는 절대없고,벌레도 거의 없구요. 아침이 한국 뷔페마냥 잘나옵니다 ㅋㅋ
