My boyfriend & I stayed here for 2 nights during our inter-railing trip. Upon arrival we were given 2 drink vouchers to enjoy at the bar which was very generous. Furthermore, the staff at reception went above and beyond for us. When we got to the next city as part of our trip I realised I had left something in the hotel which was of sentimental value to me. I emailed the hotel & Maros replied within 24 hours to let me know that they could post my item home that I had left behind. The kindness & willingness of the staff to provide this level of customer service was something I was very grateful for & something that has been somewhat lost to an extent in this modern age. Not only this, the hotel itself is lovely & the rooms are extremely spacious which suited us as we had a lot of luggage. Would definitely recommend a stay here whilst in Bratislava!

Visiting Bratislava for first time. Wedding anniversary so asked if any chance by email of an upgrade. Generously gave us an upgrade to a suite. Mrs T mightily impressed with the room and facilities. Staff all friendly. Breakfast brilliant with lots of choice. Interestingly bread and butter pudding which we think used yesterday croissants and pain a chocs. Absolutely delicious. Had a small issue with the bath tap. Reported and fixed while at breakfast. Fab service. Location very central with bus and tram stops nearby and can walk to old town in 10 mins. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

The location is great, in the old town area, but not at the centre spot, which gives it a slightly calmer vibe.
The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean, and I like that there is no carpet in the room.
The bathtub had consistently hot water, it was nice.
Breakfast was okay, with basic selections for this price range of hotel.
The car park has a residence rate for overnight parking, but it doesn't show anywhere; you need to ask the front desk.

Ficamos hospedados no quarto 606 de 27 a 28/11. O quarto é excelente mas ficamos surpresos com o péssimo atendimento da ”recepcionista” que nos atendeu por volta das 07:30 da manhã. Extremamente arrogante e debochada. Nos sentimos indesejáveis no ambiente. Sempre vamos a Europa e foi a primeira vez, em todas as cidades e países que já tivemos, que fomos mal atendidos dessa forma. Acho importante averiguar se isso acontece com outros hóspedes pois os apartamentos são excelentes, mas se precisasse voltar, não voltaria pra esse hotel e não indicarei para amigos que ainda isso a Bratislava. Ninguém merece esse tipo de tratamento.

We’ve just had a great one-night stay at this hotel after a stop in Bratislava on our way to Prague. You can’t do better than this location, it’s right in the middle of the old, just a few steps from the square. Our room was comfortable and quiet, the staff were great and the breakfast was also good. Our highlight was the restaurant adjoining the hotel - we ate dinner here and enjoyed a delicious traditional meal. Would love to stay here again.

This is a serviced apartment very close to the city centre in Bratislava, and it was very reasonably priced. Please note it is not close to the train station (it's about half an hour walk if you want to try) but it's only a short hop away by tram. As it is quite close to the city centre, you can either go there for food or there are lots of restaurants nearby and some of them are quite good as well.
The room was big, clean and bright. It has one big window, (mine was away from the street so it looks out to the back but the next building is still quite far away so there is still plenty of sunlight coming through). There is a kitchen and utensils (including a kettle if you want to make coffee or tea). The building has laundry machines that guests can use (I didn't need to use it but I think you do need to pay). The staff speaks very good English and friendly so they can be quite helpful if you have any questions. I didn't need to ask any as my stay here was faultless really. It would definitely be on my one of the choices of place to stay when I'm next in Bratislava.
There are some things to note though. You probably won't be able to check in until after 2pm. I arrive early and had to wait for my room to be ready. They do have a luggage storage service free of charge though. I can't remember whether they have daily cleaning but I think they don't have daily cleaning from memory which is fine. I'm not a messy person by nature and I'm not that obsessed with hygiene so it wasn't an issue for me.

Hotel was nice! Pretty comfortable stay, cosy room, little outdated, but overall happy with it! Clean, presentable and main thing was air conditioning! I’ve booked it in summer, so air conditioning was a must! In Slovakia, it gets uncomfortably hot during summer months, so booking a hotel without aircon, would be a terrible mistake! Our room, was a family room and costed over €100 a night, which was pretty pricey, for what it was, but there was nothing wrong with it! Just a little overpriced for what it was. Would definitely stay again, probably would book more in advance, to get better deal.

Rude and unfriendly service at check in. The hotel was fine in every other respect but having worked in tourism for over 40 years I can honestly say this was the rudest service I have ever experienced. The hotel didn’t have our reservation when we arrived but we showed the man who came out of the kitchen our papers. He couldn’t have cared less. Disappeared off. Came back with his lunch. When we pointed at our luggage to indicate the tour operator knew we were supposed to be there he replied ‘that’s nice’ in the most sarcastic way. When we asked where to put our bikes he marched outside and pointed down the street. It could have been in the Roman museum for all I could tell. This man is no doubt the Basil Fawlty of the Austrian hotel industry. But not in a good way!

GGuest UserThe epitome of Boutique hotel. Great location, breakfast buffet is extensive & staff are really friendly, especially front desk staff. Not certain about 5 star though as there’s no swimming pool but there’s a lovely terrace on 2 floor - take stairs or the elevator. It’s an easy walk around the old town and close to the Danube River. Make sure to go to the UFO tower for a 360 view of Bratislava for €9.90. There’s also a standout 5-star international fine dining restaurant. Take the well worth it ‘Panorama Tour’ for €20 & 90 minutes - book via hotel desk. WARNING - TAXI - I caught a taxi from the train station to the hotel & was charged €24, including a €20 train to hotel charge which was a scam. DO NOT take taxi at the train station - it’s actually an easy 10min walk. My fare should have been €3-5. I hope the ‘friendly’ driver rots in … Certainly put a dampener on my trip

RRiznychokThe location of the hotel is good. The room is clean and has everything I needed. The service is also good. But there were problems with hot water in one room. So I asked an employee named Alicia to help me solve this issue or change the room. But Alicia began to be rude and said that the water was not so cold and I could take a shower. But the water temperature was really cold. I was surprised. As a result, our number was changed, but only after conflict.

Having fully renovated the rooms means NOTHING if you don’t think things through. Our experience was bad, but just because the management didn’t clearly make sure that everything was working as it should be in a 120€ a night hotel which offers “executive rooms”. Upon check in, our room was cold and we couldn’t turn on the heating, even though on the istructions provided on how to manage it looked so easy. It wasn’t. At some point someone at reception activated it… but all the way up! The room was SO warm at night we had to call reception at 1AM to ask to solve the issue or be moved in another room, which eventually happened. As compensation we were offered a bottle of prosecco which was given to us… room temperature and upon checkout (two mornings after), when we had to go at the airport! Where were we supposed to drink it??? Anyway, Those newly renovated rooms are ANYTHING but soundproof as unfortunately we could hear voices in the corridor in the morning and from another room next to us. The design of the bathroom/shower is poor as the spash screen is too small and water spills out on the floor. Also there are no wall plugs right by the bed which is also absurd. You need to get out the bed to use one. The breakfast is ok but poor considering the quality this hotel presents itself to be. Therefore, £100/€120 a night for a room feels WAY overpriced (and remember it’s still 20 mins walking from town center). To the readers, I’m not saying “avoid at all costs”… but consider my honest review in your choice.

GGuest UserI stayed two nights in February, the hostel was clean, spacious, light and quite cozy. The hostel feels little bit like a huge flat with many rooms, it has nice and calm/chill atmosphere, I felt there like at home, which I really appreciated. In the big ”living room” there two big tables with chairs (perfect for playing board games), sofa with armchairs and bookshelf with armchair in the corner. In the living room there is always tea/coffee to make, that's very pleasant. There is also a small kitchen, suitable for cooking. Toilets and bathroom were clean and ok. I liked the bed, it was comfortable and didn't make any noise when moving. Rooms are very very spacious. I would like to thank once again to the host, Rado, who was so kind and sent me by a post (for free!) things I forgot in the hostel:)) Next time in Bratislava I'm definitely choosing this hostel again.

4-16-2022 This is a nice hotel nestled in the neighborhood of Bratislava on the hill. My room had a Garden which was beautiful. The views of the local neighborhood and the Bratislava Castle sitting on the hill was a night sight in the evening and especially in the morning. The property and the neighborhood was very quite. So you will rest well. Bratislava central station is only a mile away. The slavin monument is up the hill a half a mile away. Old town is short walk down the hill as well. The room was very clean and cozy. I would stay their again.

GGuest UserI couldn't fault the staff and ease of check in/out. All very pleasant saying hello or goodbye every time we passed. I loved the location as it was less than 10 minutes walk to the old town. A minute walk to Blue Church and very close to some good restaurants and the Nivy bus station, a 15 minute walk. It's about half an hour walk from the train station. ( Bus 61 from airport to train station €1.20 each for a 30 minute ticket. Journey takes approx 20 minutes. Buy tickets from yellow ticket machine at bus stop and validate the ticket when you get on the bus) We had some great daytrips on Flixbus to Vienna and Brno. So very conveniently located It was also good value for money. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel but you could pay around €11.60 each They did have a fridge near reception with drinks and snacks. I was happy with the location of the room as it is described as an internal room. It was relativity quiet. No street noise. Maybe the odd noisy resident but they are on holiday. Not a problem at all. It does look like the hotel owners are slowly trying to modernise the place as the private bathroom / toilet was clean and the shower was adequate with plenty of hot water and modern flooring there was a hairdryer, soap and towels. ROOM 101 The room had a TV with local tv channels. There was an option for Netflix which we came across by accident so if you have an account you might be able to watch Netflix. We didn't bother. There was a kettle with cups, glasses and a couple of sachets of coffee./ green tea. A unit with hangers (not really a wardrobe) but it was OK and a chest of drawers in the hallway against a locked door. I do like a fridge which was clean and a bonus as I wasn't expecting the room to have a fridge. The main bedroom itself seemed large enough until you tried to get into the double bed ( two singles pushed together) Old tired divans. This room might be better as a twin room with two single beds against the wall, left side /radiator, the other, with one bedside cabinet in the middle of the two beds with one lamp. This would give enough room to get in and out of each bed more comfortably. The absolute worst thing was the carpet! It is old and filthy with threads exposed. It needs ripping up and nice flooring laid, similar to that in the bathroom would be lovely. It was filthy behind the fridge, the edges under the radiator and worst of all was under the bed! I've never seen so much dust/ filth in a hotel room before. Maybe because there just isn't enough room down the right hand side of the bed to clean properly! It's inaccessible! The pillows and quilts were also stained but I only saw this when I took the covers off just to help the cleaners before we checked out. I know they say you get what you pay for but I've slept in cleaner youth hostels I have still given it 4 stars because of all the other good points. Staff /location. GGuest UserDon’t be deceived by the photos! The only positive thing we can say about this hostel is the bar downstairs with the evening activities. The main entertainment man was lovely and very welcoming, whilst the other staff looked at us as if we had 10 heads most of the time. We were inter-railing and this was the worst hostel we had been in. Despite there being free washing use, which was great, the dryers were horrendous and left our clothes wet for ages, and boiling hot (untouchable) leaving our room almost as a laundrette. The hostel was at the end of an alley way, so didn’t feel particularly safe, as well as the doors to the room not being great(with force, you could probably barge the door down with body weight). The bedsheets were stained and bobbled and so were the pillows. The showers were small and gross, with hair bunged up around the plug hole. The beds also creaked like mad and the fan was something from the 90s which puffed out less than a breath of air! I would only recommend this hostel if you were desperate and in need of a central hostel in Bratislava- but wouldn’t recommend if you were looking for a safe, clean room!

GGuest UserGreat hotel, bathroom, beds, breakfast. Couldn’t be better! Lady at front desk was welcoming and showed us around. Rooms had tv in them as well which was a nice amenity. Would defintely consoder staying here again.
