Derby Hotels with Free Breakfast

From the outside, the hotel makes a charming first impression with its elegant façade, ornate balconies, and a warmly lit lobby that exudes a sense of old-world charm. The check-in process is smooth, and the staff are courteous and eager to help. The room was clean and spacious, the décor is a bit dated but it adds a character to the place and I like it. The only small issue was, there’s no window only a door to the balcony which is locked and we cannot access it making the room stuffy. Also, it was difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep due to a noise of exhaust fan in the bathroom throughout the night. The bed was comfortable and having an iron was a bonus. Will I stay again? Definitely.

Travelling with work for partner and while house is being renovated. Another great trip and stay with Littleover Lodge. As always the food was stunning. Staff are absolutely amazing. Love staying here. Thank you for looking after us Reuben and team we will be back often!

Nice hotel

Clean, but the facilities are a bit old. The service was warm and friendly. The breakfast was the best meal of the day, haha. They have beer at the front desk. The restaurant space is nice. It's not far from the city center. There's a supermarket right next door, which is a big plus!

We recently stayed at this hotel and were very impressed by the staff — they were consistently friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable, which made a positive difference. However, the interior of the rooms did not quite match the photos provided online. Our group stayed in three different rooms, and unfortunately, none of the thermal meters were functioning properly. The rooms were uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to fall asleep. In my own room, the washbasin was also clogged, which caused further inconvenience.

Comfortable hotel at the back of a friendly pub.  Perfect if you need to stay in Derby and want to stay somewhere with a bit of atmosphere

It took half an hour to stay, although the attitude is very good It is equivalent to the domestic Hanting, the appliances are complete but very old Bathtub plus points, but the shower is immovable The heating is very warm but cannot be fixed The mattress is very high, it's supported. The speed of the network is very slow, too slow, the corridor and the room have a musty smell. 9.5 Breakfast for pound is average, but the service attitude is quite good, and you can pack a breakfast. Hot water bottles and coffee and tea bags are also great

The hotel is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Derby Station, which is very helpful for travelers. However, the room was a little dark, and the lift was out of service during our stay, which could be inconvenient if you have luggage. The bed was too soft for our comfort, and it was difficult to adjust the shower temperature properly. Although it only takes a minute to reach the train station, it’s about a 20-minute walk to get to the main city centre. On the positive side, the check-in process was quick, and the staff were quite friendly and helpful.

Nice and pleasant hotel in the central of the city with easy access to many places.
