We had a wonderful stay in Torbole at Hotel Lago di Garda. The room was spacious and very clean. The bedding and linens were very nice and fluffy. Beautiful lakeside view even from the dining room. The staff was very pleasant and were great in directing us to the different activities in the area. The breakfast was amazing with a good selection of foods along with the fruit and freshly squeezed juices. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would highly recommend Hotel Lago di Garda.

We stayed a week on a b&b basis as part of a Jet2 package holiday. The hotel is 4-star, modern and very convenient for the centre of Torbole - it's also close to the local bus stops and a short walk to the pier for lake steamers. The hotel is maybe not the prettiest from the outside but inside, the public areas and the rooms are attractive, modern and spotlessly clean. There's a terrace, garden and small swimming pool. The breakfast buffet was very comprehensive and delicious. Finally, the hotel staff were great - so friendly and helpful. Don't be put off by the hotel's use of the name ”Caravel Bike Hotel” - it's drawing on the big interest in cycling in the area, with loads of bike rental places nearby. The hotel caters very well for non-cyclists too - we would fully recommend it.!

We booked the hotel for 6 nights and it was an incredible experience. The room was clean, enough space and equipped with all amenities you need. Big walk-in shower, small balcony with lake view, fridge a very comfy bed, etc. Breakfast was outstanding with a lot of different things to choose. From healthy fresh fruits, cereals to bacon eggs and sausages. You can even prepare your own smoothie with a lot of fresh fruits. Coffee of choice will be served directly to your table. The staff is very professional with an eye for details. Very helpful and always ready for a small talk. Especially Iwan and Mathilde made you feel like meeting friends whenever you entered the breakfast room or the restaurant. Also the management was very helpful and accommodating When we had to leave a day earlier due to some private reason, they helped us to arrange all necessary steps to avoid costs. If you want to visit Lake Garda / Torbole, This is the place where you have to stay to make your trip unforgetable.

We have just returned from an 11 night stay, half board at the Hotel Piccolo Mondo with our 3 year old child booked through TUI. The flight was 1 hour 55 minutes and the transfer took just over an hour - don't let you put that off though! From start to finish the hotel was amazing, I cannot recommend it highly enough! Room - we stayed in room 225 and had a lovely mountain view, the room had a mini bar, double and single bed, balcony, plenty of coat hangers and storage for clothes, air con and TV. Perfectly clean and had maid service every day. Food - one of the main reasons we chose this hotel was due to the reviews about the food, we are both foodies and it did not disappoint! Our worst nightmare is an all inclusive buffet all you can eat type hotel so having a waiter served 4 course meal every night with the most amazing Italian food was right up our street! I will include a few photos! My daughter loved the food, if there wasn't something she fancied it was no problem at all for her to be cooked some pasta or spaghetti. Breakfast was great, and had the usual selection; served from 7am-10am. We ate in various restaurants for lunch depending on where we were, there is a really nice restaurant just opposite the hotel. Location - this was our very first time visiting Lake Garda and it will certainly not be our last, we loved everything about it. Torbole is a fantastic place to stay with so much going on for families, my husband took his mountain bike and went on some of best bike rides he has ever been on - there are many places in Torbole which provide shuttle services to the top of the mountains, you just book the day before. There is a separate locked room to store your bike and equipment in. Everywhere you go people are riding around on bikes, and you can borrow bikes from the hotel. We walked in to Riva many times, it takes approx 40 minutes - Riva is much bigger but we preferred Torbole without a doubt. Transport - there is a bus stop a few minutes walk away, with regular buses to Riva, Malcesine, Arco and other towns in the North of the lake. We used the ferries also to travel around, however the bus is much cheaper and quicker dependent on where you are going. Things to do - we went on the Cable Car up Monte Baldo which was amazing, did the Panoramic walk which is a must, took the ferry to Limone, visited the waterfall in Verone, there was a festival with fireworks one night in Riva, mini golf opposite the hotel, my husband hired a paddle board and canoe on the lake which he enjoyed - there is so much to do! The swimming pool was generally quiet, it has a separate children's pool too. Staff - every single member of staff was lovely, you were greeted every time you walked past reception and the waiters and waitresses were lovely. The back door of the hotel is Garda Lake, where you can swim and windsurf, and there is a windsurfing school in the hotel. The breakfast is fairly plentiful in Europe, and the service is in line with the high standards of northern Italy. The styles of the rooms in the new building and the old building are quite different. The hotel is like a big park, with good plant landscape design. The only problem is that pets are allowed in the hotel. Many people stay with dogs and they will urinate everywhere. Although individuals also love dogs, they are also worried about the indoor and outdoor hygiene of the hotel...

Just home from a lovely week spent in Astoria Resort. The hotel itself is pretty fresh and modern. The grounds around the hotel are so beautifully maintained. The rooms and bathrooms are basic and could really do with renewing the floor and cupboards. However, the bed is really comfortable, the pillows are too, and the air conditioning works well. The cleaners come in every day and fresh towels every day. The breakfast provided is really great- so much choice and complimentary Prosecco available too. You can have a coffee anyway you want, make your own smoothies and also fresh crepes and omelettes made on demand. The only downfall of breakfast is that we struggled most days to get an available table. We had to queue a couple of times and people would just ignore the queue and walk on in and claim a table. Needs a better system for seating people on busy days. The staff working in the hotel- front desk, bar, breakfast and the cleaners are so friendly, professional and welcoming, unfortunately the staff who work around the pool and at the pool snack bar both male and female have none of these qualities- they are rude, dismissive and we had to ask multiple times for our orders after we had placed them as they just seemed to forget. The staff at the pool/pool bar are the main reason for the 4/5 score and not a 5/5 score. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Astoria and would recommend it. It’s about a 15/18 minute flat walk to the lakefront. Riva del Garda is a beautiful part of the lake. We will defo be back.

Wonderful clean hotel with friendly staff. Close to Riva exhibition centre and easy walk into Arco for restaurants. Breakfast selection is good and well stocked bar. Only minor thing was reception/bar closing at 9pm as it was off season. We were travelling for business and would have liked a drink at the hotel after the restaurant. We were back at the hotel by 10pm - 11pm.
