For a hotel claiming this caliber of service, being dirty is unacceptable. Our bathroom was gross. Shower curtain liner covered in mold. Tub grout terribly moldy. No luggage assistance or valet parking available. Expected at this property. Food in steak house on par with mall chain restaurants. Nothing special about this experience except main hotel building and the view. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Second trip to this property and we will be coming back. We went with another couple and while it’s an older structure in the shadow of the main hotel the service is top shelf. It’s a great choice if you want all the charm and service offered at the main hotel but prefer a quieter more relaxed experience. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy great service from great staff.

The Bretton Arms is lovely. It’s an historic building that oozes cha m. The room was large and comfortable. Everything was tasteful and in good condition. The grounds were beautiful and there was a nice porch for relaxing. The food in the restaurant was very good. It’s a little expensive, but the quality was very good and the staff was very nice. The hotel has nice common areas for playing games, relaxing and socializing. It’s also a short walk to the Mount Washington Lodge, which had pools, and other recreational facilities, including a hiking trail.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Mount Washington resort. Instead of staying at the main hotel, we decided to take a room at the Arms inn. Not sure what to expect we were pleasantly surprised. The larger room has great character and the dining experience was excellent. Our meals were very good with interesting flavors and the service was very personable. Nanda and team were very welcoming.

A much more intimate and quieter experience than the main resort hotel. Well appointed room and bath with lots of natural light. The Inn restaurant is excellent with attentive and engaging staff, many of whom are training yet remain polished and professional. Brief menu but excellent, well made and presented meals. Wine list is well chosen rather than exhaustive (and exhausting). Overall just a pleasant stay. Will return.
