Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bridgeport - Clarksburg

After checking into another hotel nearby(and immediately leaving over health concerns), we stopped here based on the convenient location and good reviews we found online. We were relieved that four rooms were available for the duration of the stay our group needed. We checked in and headed for the elevator to our rooms. Stepping off the elevator I noticed that the property had a pleasant and fresh smell - a good sign, but something unusual even if rooms are clean. Upon entering the room we were very pleased to find that it was modern, well maintained and very clean(Thanks Brenda!). The room was nicely equipped and very comfortable. Did not use all of the facilities on the property but a few of our party who used the pool were pleased with that. Breakfast was simple but adequate, although the day of our checkout a ball team had raided it and it appeared that staff were struggling to keep things stocked…. All the staff here were helpful and friendly. As someone who can be fairly picky about hotel operations, I can say that this one really ticked all the boxes. Thanks folks! Highly recommended…..

The hotel is in excellent shape, very clean, bright, and spacious. The breakfast has a wonderful selection. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Close to the interstate for easy travel. Our door handle was broken on door, and the shower lever didn’t pull up easily in to shower mode in the bathtub. Our double queen bed room was very large and spacious. Facility is very clean. Nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast was mediocre.

Comfortable bed & pillows. Very clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast included was more than enough to start the day. Easy to access. Located conveniently to the Bridgeport Sports Complex. The hotel looks fairly new and the surrounding area looks to be a new complex.

There were so many kids running up and down the hall yelling to late into the night. I went to talk to the woman at the desk about it and she said that it was ball teams (not sure why they didn’t have their own floor all to them selves) BUT she kinda blew me off like it was no big deal and made me feel like I was the problem for complaining. All I wanted was a good nights sleep since I was in the area because my husband had a heart attack the day before and I hadn’t had sleep 😳 other than that hotel was clean and bed very comfortable

Pleasant one night stay at this property. I stayed at a king bed suite. The room is spacious. It came with a couch and a comfortable bed. The hotel looks newly renovated and the furnitures look modern. I noticed some water stains on the shower curtain and pink stains on the shower grout. It can get loud with doors slamming in the morning. There was one elevator running during my stay. The other one was broken. Breakfast was actually good compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at. They had eggs, tater tots, biscuits and gravy and other things. They had a section just for cinnamon rolls. If you’re into simple breakfast, they had yogurt, fruits, and boiled egg :). The hotel sits on a quiet area and close exit to the interstate. Restaurants are just minutes away. Definitely would stay here again ＜3
