Crowne Plaza ST. Louis Airport

Hotel was great and clean and beautiful. I was to early for my room and I was exhausted from traveling and they managed to get me in my room very fast.. thank you front desk.. housekeeping did a lovely job on 518. Not one thing was wrong and I am picky. On the other hand, I do smoke and I went outside to sit in my vehicle and smoke late in the night and was harassed and attacked verbally by a gentleman claiming to be a police officer. Very hateful and rude and disrespectful. I was parked inside the gated lot. And was approached with rude questions and insulting tones like me and my husband were criminals. And because I stood up for myself and refused to back down and answer private questions about where I was staying and what room,to someone off duty with no badge, he was trying to get me kicked out if my room in the middle of the night. The police officer on duty help resolve the situation and I went to my room. But it was a very bad moment all because we couldn’t sleep and was having a conversation in our vehicle inside the gated parking for the crown plaza.. shame on the man for being rude and thanks to the officer that handled things well. Maybe should get that guy outta that line of work. But I would stay again hands down cause the hotel was great.. and staff was amazing.. thank you crown plaza

For the room to be on the first floor it was quiet and comfortable. The service was Exceptional. Didn't get to have breakfast but it smelled amazing.

Overall, my stay was good. The bed was very comfortable. I am not sure I would stay during a holiday again, because of the loud children running through the halls. I know that was not the hotel fault, but that was on the parents.
