Many thanks to Kristina for her attentive, and kind helpful services, I appreciate her looking after me came nothing to much trouble! The gardens are beautiful, Christy give us a wonderful tour explaining the healing benefits of the fruits and herbs etc The bed was confortable, the kitchen was excellent and the environment was peaceful and quiet.I'l definitely come back soon and I highly recommend to other travellers to cone to this calm oasis of beauty!!

Crew accommodation- US Embassy trip, 10 days. Very close to embassy and within walking distance of everything to get by. Nothing available to buy on site, basic kitchen, wonderful garden zen place. Christie is amazing. Basic Caribbean, Fantastic price/location.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Barbados Chi Centre, hosted by Christine. Our room was very comfortable and situated in a very quiet neighborhood of Barbados. The bathroom was fine and there was a spacious kitchen and lots of space for a meal or get together in the gallery. It’s not often that you get to stay in a place like that, set in over an acre of lush vegetation. We got explanations about various plants and trees, as well as organic farming. Before we got there Christine was in touch with us, checking to make sure everything was in order. It was really enjoyable to wake up in the mornings to the chirping of a wide variety of birds. I was actually able to practice my tai chi early in the mornings when it was nice and cool. I enjoyed my stay and I would definitely recommend this place. I expect to be back there in the future.

The Barbados CHI Centre (CHI Guest House) is a super nice place, very cozy, ideal for those looking to destress, detox and relax in Barbados. The sounds of birds: paroqueets, hummingbirds, doves and wild amazon green parrots- it is wonderful to see a Troupe of Bajan Green Monkeys run through the grounds is a fun experience!. At night the fireflies shine their lights off an on while you are serenaded with Whistling frogs and crickets - Christy calls them her "Night Birds" that sing you to sleep. Because the guest house is made from Local Coral Stone, it is nice and cool inside and also as the Property is set in 1 1/2 Acres of Organic Tropical fruit trees, the building is kept cool so although I am someone who loves air condition I found it not necessay here and the fans provided were all I needed. CHI Guest House is a self catering venue, where a fully equipped kitchen is provided (except microwaves) as this is an Eco-friendly destination but a Toaster Oven is available. Christy is a fascinating Mother Earth type, who has studied, worked and lived in many countries and therefore works in 5 languages! She was a Tour Guide for Cruise Ships for 25 years so she has a tremendous knowledge of the island she fell in love with and wants her visitors to enjoy it as much as she does! Nothing is too much trouble, whatever you want or need need just ask Christy and if it is in her power she will provide it for you or tell you where you can go to get what you want. Staying here has been one of the best holiday experiences ever!

Everything was comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the whole room was light and spacious. It felt like being at home. The gardens was inviting so you can walk around and feel very happy hearing the birds chirping.

Loved staying in this peaceful residential area of barbados close to all the amenities of this beautiful island. Christy was a wonderful host, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The apartment was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated and a particular charm of this stay was use of the beautiful garden full of fruits and lush planting.

I've been to Barbados many times in the past but this was my best experience yet. Chrissy was a great hostess (even though she was away traveling), before my flight came in she was already texting me of what to expect and how to get there, she even checked up almost every day just to make sure if I needed anything. I had the Palmetto room which was overall comfortable with the King bed, peaceful and different with the connected outside restroom, but I loved it. I also loved the natural beauty of the garden which added to the quaint atmosphere of the guest house. I only was not sure about the access to the kitchen or if there was. All in all, the best part was Chrissy's welcoming and extremely kind family. Her son went out of his way to find something I had trouble finding, that just made my whole trip worth it, he also took me to my appointment the day it decided to rain lol but I was so grateful for all of the love and kindness, they literally do treat you like family. Definitely would go back there if I travel back to Barbados in the future.

Stayed in the Hummingbird apartment which was large and airy with the open gallery which was great to relax in. Hostess was very knowledgeable about the island w,ith tips on where to go. She kindly gave me a lift to the lovely beach at Carlisle bay. It was a bit of a trek to walk back in the heat but it is nice to stay in a residential peaceful area. The garden is full of things to use in cooking and making different teas which Christy can tell you about.

Family setting. Home away from home out of the bustles of the typical tourist strip. Very hospitable host. Host were able to facilitate arrival late at night and convenient early departure. Neighborhood in an upscale zone

We loved the Hummingbird apartment, it was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The sound of the birds in the mornings and the tree frogs was enchanting. You are truly immersed in nature on this property, something we really appreciated.

What a fascinating place to stay and what a knowledgeable host Christy is! Made such a difference to my enjoyment of Barbados. Learning about the history and the various places to visit - swimming with turtles and snorkelling around wrecks from a trip on a catamaran Quite an experience all round. Definitely will be back!!

I had an excellent three night stay at CHI Barbados. Christy and team were very accommodating to my last minute booking. Everyone was warm, kind and happy to be helpful, although I didn’t need much of anything! The guest house was very comfortable with both a well-functioning A/C unit and multiple fans for lots of choice. The bed - my most important overnight feature - was *incredibly* comfortable. The room was well appointed with kitchenette equipment (kettle, toaster, etc), a full-size fridge and freezer and a private en-suite with large comfortable shower and abundant hot water. Good lighting made reading in bed easy, and a television with Netflix available. The home is located inland and a short residential walk to shops and transit (city buses and informal bus/taxi services popular on the island). The guesthouse was cozy and comfortable and had good island charm. Christy was a delight to book with and was communicative and available. A very gracious host. Would enthusiastically recommend!

Highly recommend this amazing apartment to stay in whilst visiting the beautiful Barbados! The hosts were more than accommodating, during our whole stay they made sure we had everything we needed and provided us with the best tips for visiting the island. The apartment is very spacious, stylish and comfortable. The little living area was perfect for our two young children to play in & the kitchen was very useful for cooking breakfast every morning! The bed was very comfy and everything was super clean! We can’t wait to come back!

We didn't stay but had a fabulous tour and private class. The host is knowledgeable and her enthusiasm was infectious. The garden is packed full of interesting plants with plenty of stories about their healing qualities. Just wonderful.
