Marton Grange Country House

A lovely 3 nights stay with all the cleanliness and service we could want. The place is a tribute to the hard working staff.

An outstanding B&B - super clean, with good quality fittings & fixtures. Andrew was a great host - really friendly & informative with the local area. It's a beautiful house & is kept in immaculate condition throughout. The lounge area was lovely - light and peaceful. The perfect place to enjoy the homemade scone & tea on arrival. Breakfast was great - fresh ingredients, and plentiful with good service to your table. I'd have absolutely no hesitation in staying here again. A short (15 min) walk to village & then a further 40 min or so to walk into Bridlington. We enjoyed a visit to Flamborough head (just up the road) to see the seals on Andrews recommendation.

Had a lovely stay at Marston Grange. Beautiful building. Staff and owners welcoming and inclusive. Food is flavourful and memorable. Excellent attention to detail. Area very close to Bempton Cliffs Flamborough Head and Bridlington.

My husband and I have just returned from a 3 night break at Marton Grange. We stayed there due to the close proximity to RSPB Bempton Cliffs, as we are keen wildlife photographers. We were welcomed very warmly and shown up to our delightful room, which had a king size bed and a large en suite with fluffy towels, lovely toiletries and a heated towel rail. We had everything we needed, and a wardrobe with plenty of hangers, coffee and tea making facilities, and on the landing there is a fridge with fresh milk and bottled water. A very thoughtful touch. We had gorgeous cream scones in the guest lounge on our arrival, overlooking the beautiful gardens. It was a shame we couldn’t sit outside, but the weather was cool and windy., The choice at breakfast is really good, I loved the scrambled eggs with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Andrew and Stephen run a superb bed and breakfast, and nothing is too much trouble. They deserve every one of the 5 star TA reviews!

We have been visiting Marton Grange for many years, and on every occasion have been very impressed with the accommodation, cleanliness, breakfasts, friendliness of both hosts, Andrew & Stephen, and the staff. The provision of tea and cream scone upon arrival is a most welcome lovely touch. The house is set in beautiful and well maintained gardens and is located in an ideal location just outside of the main town. We are visiting again in July, and will continue to do so on a regular basis.

This has to be the most welcoming place to stay on the East Coast! Rooms are incredibly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was of the highest standard and superbly cooked. The two hosts are really friendly as are the rest of the staff. You are also welcomed with a gorgeous scone and cream tea.’ We returned after a gap of five years and we’re not disappointed. Fantastic stay, made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Rooms were fresh and very well presented. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide range of options including Gluten Free.
