This hotel is super comfy, and it's really close to the beach, making everything convenient. I had an awesome night here!

This was a pricey Hotel, £171.50 a night. We had 3 nights. The breakfast and dinner were good, lots of choice. There were two things that would have improved it. There's a large teapot in the bedroom but tiny cups and saucers. Mugs would have suited us better as I like tea weaker than my partner. In the dining room I asked if they had a house red. They had two, a Merlot and a Shiraz. I asked for a bottle of Shiraz and was told they only sell it by the glass (!) we had the Shiraz that was on the wine list as it worked out cheaper than the house red. Never heard of a house wine only being sold by the glass before. Or being more expensive than those on the wine list.

Wonderful overnight stay at the Haddon House Hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The accommodation was lovely, we really appreciated the jacuzzi bath and spacious room, and the food was excellent. The lovely owners decorated our table and gave us an anniversary card which made the stay really special. A stone's throw from the beach and West Bay, it was a little piece of restfulness and indulgence in our busy lives. Thank you Haddon House!

I went to Haddon house to celebrate a friends birthday by having a high tea. It was absolutely delicious and plenty of it and were given boxes to take our leftovers home. I have had a high tea there before which was as good as the most recent one. I would definitely recommend for the quality of the food and superb service.

we spent a lovely three days over the bank holiday weekend at Haddon house, it is a magnificent old style hotel , situated a two minute walk from west bay lovely big fully equipped room and bathroom , the bathroom was looking a little tired in parts but this didn't detract from the overall impression. all the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are fantastic will definitely stay again

Great little place close to the West Bay beaches. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it with the exception of a very gristly rib-eye steak. The room and the bathroom very nice and clean. The bed incredibly soft, probably too soft for someone with a back problem. The town of Bridport a short car ride away.

Stayed over the weekend. A friendly family run hotel with predominantly young, really nice hard working, helpful and cheerful staff. Rooms were good (minor gripe need more pillows) food good, well cooked and presented, and a varied menu, breakfasts encompassed all the usual items and included fried bread (gold star). Easy to get to lots of places especially West Bay (easy walk) and Bridport. Reasonably priced as well so worth exploring as its an ideal base for the Jurassic Coast and Dorset in general if hotels are your thing.
