The hotel reception staff explained the hotel to us in fluent English, so we had no complaints about the service.
The hotel does have an elevator, but it's old-fashioned and somewhat scary (because it doesn't have automatic doors on the inside).
Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't have air conditioning. Given the unusually hot summers caused by global warming, they should consider installing one.
In fact, the day we stayed, the daytime high reached 34°C (we were looking for coolness on our summer trip to Switzerland!), so we had to go outside to kill time.

Being right in front of the station was very helpful as I was tired from a long journey.
Also, I was able to soak in a bathtub, which I hadn't been able to use before, and it really helped me to soothe my travel fatigue!
I had dinner at the restaurant below the hotel, and the ladies working there were very welcoming and the food was delicious!

The location is excellent. It's right in front of Brig Station and there are restaurants nearby, so it's very convenient. I will use it again.

Really good value for money. Very close to the station, very convenient to go anywhere. It also comes with breakfast. Better than expected.

We chose Hotel Victoria for the price and location. Switzerland is expensive to travel in. Meals were extremely expensive! This place had an included breakfast. The breakfast was terrific! Meat and cheese and breads and croissants and hard boiled eggs and mixed fruit and cereal and maybe oatmeal and yogurt. So something for everyone. The pillows weren't great. But that isn't uncommon. The beds were quite comfortable. The staff was very helpful. And the town was just lovely. We went for a walk through it all and a ways up the mountain and it was absolutely stunning! Lots to see and a lovely glimpse of Switzerland. Be prepared for high food prices. Otherwise we would stay here again. We have been backpacking through Italy and France and wanted a place near the train to stow our packs before discovering this town. And this didn't disappoint!

Great location directly across from the train station. We stayed for one night and found the hotel great value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
