Comfy little hotel room with access to the pub and meals delivered to the rooms

Recently renovated & modern bistro with a little children’s area. Today (Sunday) there was also free children’s entertainment (balloon creations) & a small animal petting area. Which my 4 year old granddaughter really enjoyed. Also she was enrolled to a free meal when a full priced main meal was ordered. Yet the reason I’ve given it a low rating is because the prawn cocktail tacos ($18) was 4 mini tacos on a plate. We ordered 3x roast beef lunch.. the beef was quite fatty, tough & slightly dry, the zucchini was over cooked & like drinking water, carrots were on the wrong side of dente so hard…very disappointing Was it we made the wrong choices or was it a bad chef day as they were busy or is this the standard of food…if the manager is reading this I look forward to hearing from in which one it was

My family and I use to frequent this place many times before the renovation. My family and I decided to go back for my wife’s birthday and was extremely disappointed. I thought it was a boring menu and we even sent the seafood pasta back. Unfortunately we will never return.

We booked at room due to a family member in hospital 4 mins up the road .the staff was a little rude These room are vomit material sewage smell no screen on windows rooms were absolutely dusty and my socks I threw out .we could have got money back but our family member was dying and needed to be close to her .I’m nursing a chest infection from dust and sinus ..and yes she passed the day we were leaving .if they can rent these rooms out that’s saying a lot about the care and cleanliness in each apartment where everyone complained about smell close it down refurbished them before someone ends up very I’ll from careless management.

A great place for an overnight stay . The staff are all amazing And wonderful and easily to get along with . Meals can be purchased in the bistro downstairs . Very clean and tidy . A must stay if in the area

Terrible service, young staff and not great customer service. We went for lunch on a Sunday and was charged for the free childrens meals but it was then later taken off our bill so this was a confusing process to follow. We were also charged for the dessert which does states as an addition on the menu but why would people be charged when they clearly advertise kids eat free on Sundays. Good setting with the fences in playground but it does get busy. Probably wouldn't go again the food was average.

Saw on FB hotel bistro has been renovated & menu revamped soo decided to try it. Turned up with no booking on a Saturday night and it was busy. Outdoor area has nice seating and small area dedicated for children play (slide etc) and several families using it. Indoors bistro is clean, well spaced tables, warm welcome and waitress found us a table. Menu has lots of choices and price ranges. Order via QR code or at bar. I ordered via QR code which was easy to navigate & friend chose the bar option. We all had the roast dinner (seniors $17:90, non seniors $22:90), Coke Zero ($5:50), friend had different wines. Food arrived quickly, good portion and nicely presented. Meat was cooked well as were potatoes & pumpkin, other veg slightly over cooked but I prefer al a dente. Definitely will go back

Brighton Hotel freshly renovated with bright clean lines and comfortable furnishings. Friendly attentive staff who met our needs and requests. Food was tasty and reasonable. Enjoyed our time there where we could hear our conversations while background atmosphere was still celebratory.
