So many plus points: we received a lovely, friendly welcome. The Twenty One is conveniently located for the beach, seafront entertainment, shops, bars and restaurants without being too close (fairly quiet street with little through traffic and it’s associated noise). The decor is quirky and interesting. Our room was a great size with all the facilities we needed, including a comfy bed, quality bedding, decent size tv, blind/curtain combination keeping out the light overnight, good temperature, handy fridge etc.
We had a great breakfast - couldn’t fault it!
The bathroom was a little tired but adequate. The shower made some interesting noises in its attempt to provide an adequate flow of water. We didn’t want a bath but it was out of the question anyway (no bath plug), although I’m confident one would have been provided if we’d asked. Steep stairs may cause problems for some. A shortage of nearby parking spaces caused problems for us, but we were eventually very lucky when one became available immediately outside the front door.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
