New Steine Hotel - B&B

Rooms not big enough no radiator cold and hot water not working But the staff good and helpful. Breakfast is nice and staff nice.

We stayed in New Stein Hotel for 2 nights. It is conveniently located in Brighton. We were here as we were visiting friends. Staff made us very welcome. Breakfast was superb. Bed was very comfortable. The only down side is parking but was told that we could purchase vouchers and there were ample parking spaces along the streets that allow permit holders from 9am to 8pm. It is cheaper than paying via the app. Parking in Brighton is very expensive. It is good that the hotel do sell these vouchers.

We stayed at the New Steine Hotel on a previous visit so booked again. Location is great as everything is just a short distance away from the hotel. On our previous visit we booked a room with 3 single beds & were given a room downstairs which was perfect as I am disabled & the small flight of stairs was manageable. On this visit, we again requested a room with 3 single beds & my friend that booked assumed it was the same room due to the photo showing the picture of that room, but we emailed to make sure but unfortunately our preferred room was being refurbished & wasn't available. On arrival we were given our room key & it was on the top floor & there was no other rooms available with 3 single beds. So we had to go up 6/7 flights of stairs to get to our room, not ideal when you used a walking stick due to back & legs issues & another of our group having arthritis. We were in agony by the time we got to the top & had to do this for 4 days, sometimes crawling up on all fours. The room itself was ok, but the folding bathroom door didn't fit the door space & wouldn't close properly offering no privacy when using the toilet or shower & the sink had no water when the mixer tap was turned to hot. We enjoy staying at the New Steine Hotel, the staff are nice & the rooms are serviced daily but wouldn't stay again unless we had the room we had before due to our mobility issues, the top floor was just too much & a room sharing a double bed & a single bed wasn't really an alternative option for us again due to our disabilities. Hopefully we will be back next year but will get the room availability confirmed before booking because we like the location of the New Steine.

Friendly staff. Chef gave the child that was travelling with us extra breakfast food. Excellent breakfast Room was clean and tidy Great location for beach and town centre. Would stay here again. Only down side. It doesn't mention anything about a lift. Which there isn't one

Big thank you to the staff at New Steine Hotel. Spent 4 nights attending a family event. Wonderful welcoming staff, clean, comfortable room, tasty local food, really well positioned in centre of Brighton with great access to all the possible events and amenities. Genuinely can’t recommend enough and again, big thank you to all the staff!

Had a enjoyable stay T the New stein Hotel. Lovely hotel. Room was very nice size and clean. A comfortable stay. Breakfast was amazing so much to choose from. Continental to English breakfast. The staff were amazing so accommodating. Made us feel very welcome when we turned up very early, use of facilities and taking our lugged to our room for us to explore Brighton. A recommendation indeed. Thank you from Mr and Mrs Jones.

This is the second time we've stayed here, and it was just as nice as the first time. The rooms are clean and comfy, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as well, within walking distance all the main attractions. We will definitely be back.
