No wonder this B&B wins awards! Beautifully appointed light and airy rooms in a peaceful village setting with a wonderful host. We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else when we're back in the area, and we recommend this exceptional B&B unhesitatingly.

Excellent from start to finish Sam was a very welcoming host even helped me with my bag our room was exceptional. Everything was spotless the breakfast was lovely homemade bread and local jams and marmalade I recommend this lovely b and b it's a hidden gem

Stopped for the night as I had to collect a motorcycle from nearby. Samantha the owner couldn't have been any more helpful. Excellent room...lovely shower and decent size TV. Everything you needed in respect of tea and coffee and a welcome home made biscuit. The breakfast was made with fresh produce and tasty. Can highly recommend this B&B

Recently stayed at the Swallows Rest whilst on a business trip. A truly beautiful B&B, 5*’s really isn’t enough. The room had a luxury finish throughout with a roll top bath in the en-suite, immaculately clean and a friendly welcome from owner Sam. A great choice of breakfast included. Highly recommend this B&B!

You really cannot argue with positive review stats like this; the host Sam, does everything to maintain these high standards; lovely clean calm tasteful room, comfy bed, high thread sheets, extra touches, excellent breakfast, and she also recommended and helped us book a local fantastic gastropub meal at short notice on s Saturday evening. First class.

From the warm welcome to the homemade biscuits, our stay here was a lovely experience. We stayed in the garden room, overlooking the very pretty, secluded garden. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The decor was very tasteful. Breakfast was delicious, although I would have enjoyed a full English, sadly only available on a weekend. Sam was a welcoming, attentive host who made our short stay lovely. We would certainly recommend and certainly stay again.

Lovely spacious accommodation, finished off to a high standard. Quiet location and a warm welcome by Jess and Sam, who are friendly and approachable. The chocolate chip cookie on arrival was delicious! I will definitely stay again when in the area.

We were greeted by Sam as soon as we got out of the car. She was warm, welcoming, and took an interest into why we were visiting. The entire property was clean and quaint and the bedroom and bathroom were huge! She also made us a delicious breakfast before we headed back to London. I hope to visit again!
