Room was spacious.
Sofa smell bad once we sit on it.
Water supply yellowish.
Water heater can't last long, recommended to close all window b4 shower. Cold n shivering...
Detergent too strong and it's harmful to adults, especially infants/baby. My 2 y.o feeling yucky, same to us.
*I booked for two night.first night really suffer coz thought of the odour will go.
2nd day, no make up room(afraid of the chemical smell) n open d window when v go outing, that better when v back.

I am writing this review for the improvement of hotel services and visitors who are going to stay this Nova Highlands.
The hotel rooms are in the shopping mall but the reception is at the another building. I brought the car and was asked me to park in the shopping mall car parking. There will be parking fees in the shopping mall. Only one receptionist asked me to come back by walking in the heavy cold rain to make the TNG card free in the shopping mall parking. I had to go the reception in another building that is 7 min walk everytime I come back to hotel. I requested an umbrella and she did not borrow it. She said that the hotel didn’t have any person to help us and it was policy. I asked what it was and she replied it was what she said without documents, surprised!
She did not give any info about breakfast that I purchased before. When I called and she said to collect the coupon to eat at one cafe in the shopping mall. How can I go in the heavy raining without car and umbrella.
There is no intercom system and please don’t the receptionist would pick up the phone calls.
So, I would request trip.com to consider it as this Nova Highlands is not hotel, but some kind of guest house.

The service at the reception was great. Smile and all helpful.
However, the room is bad.
First impression into the room - awful smell. Moldy and stuffy.
Then - we booked a one room apartment with 2 single bed, but they have given us a queen bed instead. We had to call them to request for a change.
No fan in the "room' that we asked for a fan - but was provided with one semi-broken fan that makes loud noise as if it will break down anytime.
Room has spider webs. We were bitten by some insect either on bed or on the sofa.
Mold were found in washroom.
Initially thought not much complaint for the price but at least give us some proper and clean room.

I couldnt sleep the first night as the bed/bedsheet makes my skin itch throughout. Called housekeeping and they came pretty fast and changed our bedsheets and towel the next day.
There wasnt any handsoaps for the kitchen so we bought one for us to use there.
Overall experience is fine. Can see the Cameron Santorini from where we stay! So plus point for that haha
