This is more for Trip dot com to be aware that when you suggest an hotel to book please check if that hotel is just der renovation and if all facilities at the hotel are open. The staff at great southern hotel were fine but the whole hotel was under construction noise from 7 am till later afternoon. There was no way I could relax and sleep well or have an afternoon nap. At times even the room service was not great and left things unattended. Overall was not a great day at the great southern.

Old room not that clean. Very noisy renovation 7am until 5 pm these renovations finish in a few weeks.
This renovation was not notified on the Trip.com site but is noted if you book direct.

The room has no advantages except that it is bigger. The room is located in a corner. Although there is a window, there is no sunlight coming in.
