Marie on reception was very nice ,polite and friendly . The rooms were clean and tidy as you'd expect from a premier inn . The place is however quite dated felt a bit like the 1970s cross roads motel . Half expected to see miss dianne and Benny any minute. The food in the pub next door was very good .

This was a good location, not that far from the M4, perhaps 10-15 mins. The receptionist was very pleasant and my room was on the ground floor. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was of a nice quality. I did hear some noise from upstairs, but I think it was the person, and they would have been noisy no matter where they were. Breakfast was an unusual arrangement, where we had to go next door. My only criticism was the early finishing time of 9am. That's too early. The food, however, was very good, lots of choice, and the hot items were brought to the table. The staff were helpful, and the space was very quaint with a rustic cottage feel about it. I was a bit disappointed not to have a bedside socket for a phone or laptop/tablet.

Easy check in at 3.30pm on a ground floor so i could store bike, receptionist friendly and helpful. Good nights sleep and late checkout was really helpful. Plenty of parking and pub next door. Nice bed, wifi, tea/coffee and a nice shower. Located just off main road, but no road noise

Hotel staff gave friendly welcome and bed comfy but that is all . Room very dingy , bad lighting and tired badly needs a refurb . Had to change my towel as had lumps of bath sealant on it. The bath was dirty. Black mold on tiles etc The adjacent pub was booked for a family meal which we had to order in advance and pay a deposit . We were led to a room used for storing furniture . It was freezing cold. The carpet was filthy with strips of gaffer tape . The lighting was bad and the walls had paint peeling and remnants of tape . The tables were sticky and the chairs were tatty and dirty. There was cutlery on a paper napkin but little or no condiments. We had to get our own drinks which meant leaving the room .We waited 1hr for main meals and despite ordering a week before 2people didn’t receive their mains until the other 10 had finished . When I mentioned this I was told by the manager you’re lucky we normally charge £50 for this room !!!! The food was good . It felt like we were sat in a storage room cold and filthy , tables stored in the corner and also behind a filthy white net curtain, it was like sitting in a garage. I would advise DO NOT book this function room. I don’t know how they can charge £50.Food delivered to table but that was it. In the morning breakfast wasn’t great and made worse by a very rude woman who took our order .She insisted on stating what we could have and we each in turn had to respond how many of each item we wanted making us feel very uncomfortable . She snapped at our elderly parents, because they dared to speak out of turn .Coffee etc was in a thermos and tepid . Sausages undercooked and fried eggs overcooked . Overall the hotel in bad state and the adjoining pub also needs a refund ,dark, dirty , broken uncomfortable seating and rude staff. We will not be returning as there are much nicer places to meet and dine with family .

I have stayed at many Premier Inns and I have to say the rooms in this one urgently need a refurb. The service from the staff was excellent and the hotel was in a quiet location meaning that you were able to get a good nights sleep. There is also a large free car park which is good. We stayed here on route to the Cotswolds so the location was good for us and it represented value for money. However investment is needed to bring it up to the expected Premier Inn standard. I wish I had read the reviews before booking then I would have know what to expect.

Stayed for three nights and the rooms had a basic clean and we found some dirt around the carpet and bathroom The rooms also need modernizing, especially the showers

Always good service here, the staff are amazing and very accommodating, I love the fact that they remember us as soon as I confirm the booking and get our regular room, the children are very happy and feel confident enough to ask as reception for things that they need. The rooms are always spot on and clean and the cleaning team do an awesome job to

Room was clean and tidy. However we were given the incorrect time for breakfast serving at check in. We were told 8am to 10am. When we arrived at the restaurant for the breakfast at 8.55am we felt rushed to decide what cook breakfast we wanted and then there were limited other choices. The staff then told us breakfast ends at 9am. We explained we weren't told this, but they didn't do anything to help us just packed food away and quickly cooked the breakfast. Some of this was under cooked. It was a disappointing start to the day and the children didn't get their full breakfast, they left feeling hungry. If we went again, we would not have the breakfast.
