Best Western Brome Grange Hotel

Small double room, very soft mattress, bathroom was tiny, no surface for your washbag etc, very tatty bathroom suite, sink cracked from top to bottom, shower leaked so badly that the flooring was warped and leaked onto bedroom carpet leaving wet patch after each use.

How this place can justify £100 + per night is beyond me. I don't know if the service was so bad because they had a Coach load of people there or if that's how they usually are? Firstly I was told on arrival about the coach load of people and that I couldn't enter the restaurant until after 8pm. Ok, so I thought I would.watch tv for a while. TV didn't work. Blue screen with no signal. Told the receptionist and waited for two hours in a bland cold for someone to come and fix it, and they never came. Told her again when I went for dinner and they still didn't come. The restaurant was completely overwhelmed. I had the Gammon and it was awful. Tasted old and it was really fatty. Pudding was lovely to be fair. Back to the room twochours later and still no TV. The room was freezing and not the cleanest. Bathroom stunk terrible. Had to leave the window open to try and get rid of the smell. The toilet wasn't screwed to the floor or the wall behind. So any sudden movements and you were off. The bed was really nice and I did sleep well. Following morning and the Coach party had obviously beat me to it. Restaurant was a shambles. I was in there for 15 minutes before anyone realised. Finally took my order and I was left with the Coach party remnants. Breakfast wasn't much better than the meal the night before. Cold undercooked Bacon and sausages that were rock hard. From the outside, the place looks lovely. I'm sure the Spa and treatment rooms are all very nice. Maybe they should take some of that fanciness into the bedrooms. And don't book up all of your other rooms if you can't cope with a Coach load of people.

This is absolutely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, the rooms were tired and didn’t function properly. The breakfast bears no relation to the website, no menu provided, just basic cheap buffet options with no bread, sausages full of gristle , grey scrambled eggs and tinned mushrooms coffee in a flask, it was disgusting.

Poorly trained staff in Bar and front of house , no one at check in, other guests allowed to drink cans of beer in carpark until after 11 pm , mattress old and worn , outside common areas not kept clean and tidy , long wait for food and then charge 10% service

i would say it was so bad, leaky toilet, dry/overcooked food, waited 2 hours for my meal, management was not to be seen, my friend waited 1 hour after we had tried to eat breakfast for his,,no staff, no chose of starters of mains said 5 only 2 of each,, do get coned in paying a £20.00 book in change, am still waiting for the Management team to contact me about my bill, forced my friend to pay my bill, the place a joke

Hotel is right on the A140 main road, so access is sporty with the speed of the traffic, especially when leaving. Hotel is a motel style, with rooms set away from reception and the main road, but are spacious with all the standard equipment. Breakfast was a selection of continental and hot food in trays, with eggs cooked to order. As it was getting near the end of the service, coffee was lukewarm at best and it took a while to get the eggs. Didn’t eat in the restaurant or used any of the other facilities.

All members of the team were fantastic, considering they were understaffed. Everyone was polite, approachable and extremely helpful. Thank you everyone for making our son's wedding party accommodation a great experience. We would definitely recommend and stay with you again.

It was our 15th wedding anniversary and we decided to re visit this hotel as they have a lovely bridal suite with a huge spa.bath. my husband was informed how the room had just been redecorated. The room looks lovely with a huge TV and a fridge with plenty of water and wine. On our 1st night there I tried to use the spa bath rather late and when it didn't work I (wrongly) thought perhaps it had a timer to prevent late night use. On our second night I again ran the bath and tried to use the jets to realise that the spa wasn't working. My husband went to reception and reported the fault to be told there wasn't anyone available to look at the issue. My husband also explained he had asked.for petals to.be sprinkled on the bed for our arrival and that hadn't happened either. Breakfast was a bit hit and.miss and could be much better. It's a shame, we had issues last time we stayed here with our room being double booked and another anniversary spoiled but because of the customer service they provided to make up for the issues we returned. This time my husband has had to chase the hotel regarding these issues as they never replied to his email. We have received a missed call but due to my husband having surgery we haven't managed to catch up with them again. On a plus note we found a lovely hotel just across the road with working jacuzzi and brilliant customer service which we stayed in for a 3rd night to make up for.our.1st 2 nights

The room was lovely and clean , spacious and a comfy bed. The bathroom was a lovely size and lovely shower but where the rooms are outside there were a lot of bugs. The tv in the room didn't work. The breakfast was sparce for the cost. The Australian lady that booked us in on reception was very professional and friendly. A good stay.
