The Zwavelppoort Guest house is beautiful, clean, and the house staff really hospitable and helpful. It has 2 sapcious queen size bedrooms, and I really enjoyed the walk-in closets(nice touch) I greatly recommend this place. We are certain that we'll be going back.

After getting back from a wedding @ 23h45, I was bust brushing my teeth when I heard something at the front door. As I came around the corner a domestic worker was in the house. When I asked her what the heck she is doing in the house she said that she needed a mattress from the storeroom in the house. How can one book the guesthouse and then a worker just unlock the door and walk in at 23h45 as if there is no one in the house? I left a whatsup message for the owner and I left feedback on Zwavelpoort guesthouse website. No respondse. Next level extreme and very upsetting. Needless to say, I did not sleep well.

The booking was for 3 Adults and 4 children. The accommodation was not prepared for our visit. The old african lady had to struggle to get mattresses ready so that their is enough place to sleep. We tried to contact Madeliane to no avail, in fact she did not even returned our call or messages the following day. There are many other Guesthouses in the area rather consider booking with another Guesthouse.

It was a terrible experience. Despite our confirmed booking we were not expected. Got not get firstly into the guesthouse. Once in there was nobody to receive you. The building was under construction. We eventually decided not to sleep over. Can’t recommend this guesthouse to any one. 0/10 They did refund us the full amount after a complaint was lodged.

What a beautiful place, we were wowed by the view. It is truly a slice a heaven. The staff are extremely helpful, kind and attractive. The hostess was so welcoming and warm, it felt like home. Highly recommend.

My stay at the Zwavelpoort Guesthouse was excellent. The venue is beautiful, neat and maintained and the host (Sarah) was very helpfull and available at all times. There is a fridge with fresh milk and a coffee station with rusks and sherry.

What an amazing stay, I have no bad comments that i can give you. I felt welcome every second of my stay. The people were amazing and made me feel like I was at home. I will never be able to go to Pretoria and stay at another Guesthouse than Zwavelpoort Guesthouse. Thank you for the wonderful stay. Hope to be there again as soon as possible.
