The hotel is well located. The interior of the hotel is nice. But the room, better to renew. Room 101 requires the new carpet and renew most of the furniture. The breakfast is nice. The parking is limited with max high of the car 1,9 meters.

From the outside the hotel looks very beautiful, but from the inside everything is more modest. Standard rooms are not too spacious - for five stars it seems a little cramped. Breakfast is quite up to the standard of the hotel. Varied and you can order porridge, for example.

We have family members that are Ukrainian Refugees that fled to safety in Bucharest. The General Manager of the Moxy Roxana-Maria Vişan was extremely empathetic and understanding to our situation. Lorena Dinescu Crew leader was equally amazing responding to all of our questions and providing incredible support for us. They provided the most special touching personalized service and hospitality to our family for 19 days. Thankfully we were able to find a permanent residence for them with friends in Breda, Netherlands. According to our family members the property has an amazing vibe, great rooms, ideal location to old town, and most importantly a friendly caring staff of employees. If you visit Bucharest you need to check out the Moxy!

Hotel location is wonderful - middle of the old city. Rooms are spacious enough but some of them are located over a street with a night club and are very noisy all night (especially lower floors) - this has to be mentioned at check in to relevant customers. Staff is very friendly and helpful - especially at reception. Rooms cleaning needs some improvement as some negligence showed and called for our intervention. Breakfast is great, large choice and comfortable dining room including outdoor seating Fitness center is quite small and at basement - could have been located on an upper floor facing the old city - would be wonderful

When i got there, I was told I was too early (fair enough, check-in is from 2 pm and i got there around 11.30) I had sort of anticipated this, so thought i would just kill some time at the skybar which supposedly has a great view - but much to my surprise, I was told the skybar was closed, only open for breakfast. Must be the biggest attraction of the hotel, and in their wisdom, they close it! So instead, I took a walk heading towards the parliament building which is preety close by. When i returned a while later, room was now ready but oh by the way, the lift doesnt work! So i now had to carry luggage up the fire exit staircase (room was on 4th floor). Very narrow and poorly lit, so if you have trouble walking - good luck. Just hope you dont meet somebody coming down - passing them will be a challenge :-) Reception said lift would be fixed in a day or two!! So i made it to the room and cannot really decide what to think of it. On the one hand, it was spotlessly clean and looked very new and modern but on the other hand: No coffee / tea, There was a minibar with some wine and soft drinks but no beer,No glasses to be found anywhere (so I guess, just drink the wine from the bottle),WiFi works but not very stable - keeps dropping out. At breakfast, the skybar was now open - 2 people in front of me for the coffee machine which was quite slow - turned out they were not guests - but the breakfast room staff!. When they finally had their coffee they went straigth out onto the open terrasse for a cigarette (very small outdoor terrase and the staff now occupied 1/3 of it) and started chatting quite loudly - so terrasse is just as much for the staff - not the guests only. And really - if staff of any kind of establishment wants to have a loud discussion, do so away from the guests!! Breakfast was very poor - quite frankly pathetic! - some dry toast bread, a little bit of cheese and some slices of what looked like ham/salami - nothing warm like e.g. eggs (of course the staff were busy out on the terrasse smoking and having a loud conversation). Definately not worth any money at all - instead head out for one of the many cafes very close by. The lobby has what looks like a bar, but all they sell is coffee. Big surprise to me when late afternoon after a long walk i came back, asked for a cold beer and was told they didnt have any!! You can have some wine from the minibar, but you cant have a beer anywhere. The day of departure i waited a little in the lobby for my taxi to the airport. Need to use a bathroom?? Too bad - just like the lift, out of order. This would be fixed ”in a day or 2” so clearly not a priority for this place. Wifi, although it did work in the room - no luck in the lobby - could not connect at all. The guy in the lobby was nice enough but most of the time you will find him outside, having a smoke. All in all, extremely dissapointed with this place. Wish i had gone back to Hello Hotel instead - breakfast much much better, you can

Mother-son city trip. Very interesting and very clean city with mostly nice people! Architecture is extremely interesting with very beautiful green spaces. A city well worth seeing.
The hotel is very centrally located. We had a double room with single beds on the fifth floor. We didn't notice any noise from the rather noisy surroundings. Although we didn't open the window.
The air conditioning is very good but also very loud.
The furniture is old but still intact and therefore still usable. However, the carpet urgently needs cleaning.

The location is also very good, close to a few tourist attractions and the neighbourhood is full of restaurants. Pe data viitoare!

CCeline ArgyropoulosThe stay was really great! the communication was smooth. The flat is clean and has everything one needs. I would ask the owner to consider adding a small trash bin in the bathroom, for women who need to dispose of certain things, without having to go back to the flat (my flat had a completely separate private bathroom, so I had to go through a small corridor to go back and forth, but this corridor is protected by a main door and gives access to only the flat and another one). The second suggestion would be to leave a roll of plastic bags, for the bin in the kitchen.
The location is a bit far from the center, so if you want to stay for a short period, I would advise another location (it takes around 30min to get to the center). The area is rather quiet, although Bucharest is known for the heavy traffic (and, apparently, many speed drivers and cars with tuned exhausters?).
The washing machine and the drying rack was a very nice bonus, they even leave some pods to do two loads. overall really great!
GGuest UserThis hotel is super nice and a very chic place to stay. Fun to have a drink in the lobby and to have breakfast inside the restaurant. The rooms are very spacious they have like three separate rooms and they have a beautiful balcony overlooking the property. Staff was flawless hotel was very upscale. The only problem I have with this hotel is that the pool is very very small and I like to luxury ate and of huge swimming pool when I am on vacation and the pool here very small maybe only suitable for children or for someone who doesn't like to swim laps. I never took a dip in the pool and I changed hotels because I wanted a spa / swimming pool hot tub amenity for my vacation. If you were not into pools then this is the perfect place to stay. I got this room for $100 a night and that is truly a steal.
GGuest UserThe service attitude is very good. They help me print the itinerary and send it by express. It is very friendly. It is very convenient to eat nearby and can be reached on foot. It is worth recommending.
GGuest UserThe hotel is safe and clean. Good spread of breakfast food. This hotel is located along alone-way road and off the main street. Some taxi drivers and private hire car drivers cannot find it. It is a 4-minute walk to the main street.
stayed here three nights on recent romania trip apartment was large spacious and reasonably well equipped bed was very comfortable and bathroom had excellent rainbath shower check in was prompt and efficient although staff were a tad stuffy that aside i felt the hotel offered good value for money if booked in advance and the location was excellent...just a 4/5 min walk from the old town a very good choice in central bucharest
GGuest UserThis hotel is a little tricky. Do not book the regular rooms because they are tired and the beds look soggy and used. They need to do a little bit of work on the interior in the carpets on the outside of the rooms. Only stay in the suites are and above cuz they're great. But the superior room and the regular room are not to my liking and a little depressing. But I would stay this hotel anytime I was in Bucharest but only in the sweets and the studios not in the regular tired looking hotel rooms. One of the major benefits of this hotel/aparte hotel is that it has a fantastic hot tub/ jacuzzi and it is right next door in the gym all you have to do is sign in. I love the hot tub and I love the pool especially in mid-December when everything was freezing. I would stay here anytime I visited Bucharest. The food in the restaurant is okay relatively okay value for the money and service is good. Also the women at the front desk are very helpful and accommodating.
GGuest UserWell located at the intersection of Eminescu and Dacia. It is in a relatively recent building that we found our large apartment on the 6th floor consisting of 3 rooms including two bedrooms. Blackout curtains would be useful so as not to be woken up by the rising sun. Equipped with 2 toilets, one of which is separate. The bathroom is okay; sluggish hair dryer. The bedding should be changed; a simple sheet of foam on a mattress is not a mattress topper! The kitchen is minimally equipped, but as the restaurants aren't expensive, we didn't use it. Only real downside, the lack of contact in the evening in case of emergency... Excellent value for money
GGuest UserWhen I arrived at Hotel Tranzzit there was absolutely nobody manning the desk. Granted, it was around 11pm, but the website lists no set check-in time limit (just that it begins at 2pm). I waited around 45 mins for someone to show up, and the person who did arrive was not very friendly or communicative. After some back and forth I was told that they had no record of my booking — however I had just received a phone call from them the day before (no message left) so they definitely had my information. The night receptionist showed me the personal information of everyone else staying there to ask if I was staying with those guests, which seemed like a breach of privacy. He asked if I had paid yet, and I said no, but he gave me the keys and let me into the room without paying. Very strange check-in experience. Overall, the room was not bad. Unfortunately I was in the room directly beside reception and you can hear absolutely everything, so I was awoken every day by the phone ringing or people chatting. The daytime receptionists were very friendly although did not speak English, and I made sure to pay for my stay in the morning. My room had one large bed, a closet, a bathroom, a window to an outdoor seating area, and a television — although I never tried the TV as you could hear everything from the lobby and vice versa. No hot water on the first day but the second day was fine. Soap and shower gel is included in the bathroom. No fridge or kettle in the room but there is a kitchen. Breakfast is not included but one coffee per day is allowed if you ask the reception to prepare it. Wi-fi is uncharacteristically spotty for Romania and would connect and disconnect every minute or so. The great thing about this place is not only price but location. You are only around 8 mins from Gara de Nord and there is a laundromat on the way as well. Lots of Mega Image grocery stores nearby and even a nice park. Metro, etc. are all located conveniently. It's very easy to walk to the Old City and the area with the Atheneum. Overall, I didn't hate my stay here. It was a bit awkward and strange but the daytime receptionists were very sweet and feigned being impressed with my almost-non-existent Romanian, hahaha. I would stay here again for one or two nights if I was travelling by train.
AAngelaThis is a simple hotel that had the basic amenities but as that was all we needed we were quite happy with it. There are a couple place you can sit outside and enjoy the weather if you’d like. The only downside was they do not store luggage and the check out is early (10 am) so we had to get another day since our flight was later.
