I have just had a two night stay at the Kintrea and I fully recommend it as a place to stay in Buckie. Jackie and Mike are fantastic hosts, friendly and helpful and the room was great with a sea view. Breakfasts are top drawer, the full Scottish is just that and you can select items you prefer not to have and includes vegan options. It is cooked to order as you tell them what time you want to eat. There are also other options like porridge or yoghurt with fruit and nuts, delicious. They have started providing evening meal which you select your choice so it is ready when you want it, I didn't have an opportunity to try it out but if they cooked to the same standard as breakfast they will be fantastic. Thank you Jackie and Mike for adding a special something to my short break.

Had a wonderful stay! Jackie was fantastic, rooms were spotless, our dinners were delicious with a generous main course and plenty of tasty vegetables! Rooms had racks over the heaters to dry our wet boots and socks. The bus stop to catch a bus to Inverness was right across the street. Upon hearing that we had to catch a very early bus and would have to miss breakfast, Jackie sent cereal and juice to our rooms the night before. Amazing hospitality!

Just stayed for 2 nights and what a great find. First time in the area travelling with business and I feel really lucky to have had the opportunity to meet Jackie and Mike. I was made to feel very welcome, the facilities are excellent and the food is 10/10. The room was very comfortable, spotless and plenty of extra pillows. Ensuite bathroom is modern, immaculate with everything you need for your stay. I would recommend the Kintrae B&B and will definitely come again when I am next in this beautiful area.

The property is beautifully decorated and in very good condition. The bathroom had plenty of hot water and a nice view over the sea. It was also of a good size. Dinner and breakfast was nicely cooked and delicious. Jackie and Mike gave us a great welcome and couldn’t have been more helpful. We loved the sunroom watching the sun go down over the sea. This is a great place to start the Speyside Way from.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang. Sauberes kleines Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, mit oder ohne Frühstück ein Zimmer zu buchen. Da es in Buckie nicht viele Restaurants gibt, wird angeboten, in der Unterkunft das Nachtessen (gegen Vorausbuchung) einzunehmen. Tolle Idee.

Jackie und Mike betreiben dieses B&B. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber, die Matratzen der Betten besitzen einen angenehmen Härtegrad und sind nicht durchgelegen oder zu weich. WLAN natürlich vorhanden, Dusche und WC im Zimmer, Frühstück wird zum Teil selbst durch die Besitzer zubereitet und serviert, die Auswahl hierzu ist sehr gut. Highlight dieses Hauses ist das zusätzliche Angebot von Mike und Jackie, selbst zubereitete Gerichte aus lokalen Spezialitäten zum Dinner anzubieten (Auswahl aus einer Speisekarte bis 22:00 des Vortages, 3 Gänge möglich, zusätzlich nicht alkoholische Getränkeauswahl). Wir hatten das Glück, Lachs direkt aus dem Hafen in Buckie sowie einen Schokolade- und einen Käsekuchen mit Eis genießen zu können, einfach traumhaft. Also wirklich alles unter einem Dach, nur zu empfehlen, speziell als Ausgangspunkt für den Speyside Weitwanderweg.

Another fabulous stay at Kintrae Bed & Breakfast, rooms are fantastic and beds are so comfortable, food is out of this world, we had dinner on both nights which was absolutely scrumptious, Jackie & Mike are a fab couple who work extremely hard to ensure all guests have a fantastic stay, can’t wait to return next June, very highly recommended.

Lovely bed and breakfast run by a wonderful couple, they went out of their way to give us a great start to the Speyside Walk. Bedrooms were well appointed, we had a fabulous shower in ours and it was all spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, with a great range to choose from. We saw seals along the coastal walk that started our day. Thank you!
