Very stylish hotel, in the building dating back to 1914. Renovation was done probably quite a while ago, but it definitely has character. Rooms are quite big and bathtub was great after long day. Location is 10 min walk to central area or 2 train stops to the parliament, lots of restaurants and supermarkets around.

Good hotel close to centre in Budapest. Rooms are spacious. No gym, pool. Bed mattress was firm.

This was my third stay in two years. This hotel is quite satisfactory, with a great location, an interior reminiscent of the old socialist era, and a decent breakfast. This hotel is highly recommended for those who feel that the old facilities are more of a heritage hotel. The hotel is located in the city center and has an excellent location. The breakfast is rich and the service attitude is very good. There is no kettle to boil water in the room. The front desk brought it immediately. I had to wait for a long time when checking in and there was only one staff member.

Considering the location and value for money, it is very good. It is recommended to make a reservation a little in advance, as it will be more expensive if you book at the last minute. As the name of the hotel suggests, it is very close to Astoria Station and the city center is also close. The interior feels old overall, but I think that's what gives it its character. I also ate at the restaurant. I was happy that they welcomed me comfortably even though I was alone.
