The hotel is a bit old. The front desk treats Chinese people differently. If foreigners check in at the same time, if foreigners have rooms, we have to wait until three in the afternoon to give them rooms. It is not friendly to Chinese people.

The room is great and comes with a balcony. If you don't want to go out and play, sitting on the balcony is also a great experience. The breakfast is rich and can satisfy your appetite. The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming.

There is air conditioning in the room but no coffee/tea. The cleanliness of the towels is average, and the service enthusiasm is average.

Great stay in Budapest, perfectly positioned hotel in a quieter area of the city. A good selection of bars & food easily within walking distance. Continental breakfast was perfect to set you up for a days exploring of the area, a very pleasant stay in a beautiful city. We most definitely would stay here again highly recommended

Booked last minute trip for 4 nights, been to a different part of Budapest before and this area is really good, quiet and felt safe. The room was clean with a terrace overlooking the back area and the breakfast room so it was quiet there are lived in apartments next door but no noisy neighbours! There isn’t a kettle in the room but you can ask for one at reception. The breakfast was great so much on offer really good selection and also noticed a gluten free section so really caters for all. The reception staff were super, very helpful and friendly. If you get the a 100E bus from the airport you need to get off at Kalvin Ter and it’s about 15 minutes walk back to the hotel which is ok as on a flat main road. There’s an Aldi round the corner from the hotel for snacks if required and plenty of places to eat like Vietnamese, Mexican Hungarian etc round the corner from the hotel if you go out to the left. The number 4 and 6 trams (and more) stop 5 mins walk away which will take you over the bridge. We found a thermal spa 15 mins walk which was mainly locals and very cheap with all you need to have the experience- take flip flops as they are expensive to buy and must be worn! The Christmas markers are everywhere in the city and busy with tourists and lovely at night. This was a lovely break in a lovely hotel in a beautiful city and we will return.

Bed was so comfortable, room was lovely and clean. Had a lovely balcony aswell. Our room had a mini fridge in it which was great and there was 2 bottles of water left for us in the room. The staff were very helpful especially the night receptionist. Great location close to the tram and the metro. The only complaint was that you could hear the other rooms very clearly closing doors and walking.

I stayed in a room with three beds, the room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was was clean, the room was cleaned daily, the breakfast was good, nice variety, the only thing it could do with is extra coffee machines as you have to queue for them, but a nice hotel overall.

We stayed here for 3 nights during the recent Hungarian Grand Prix in July. Good location to get to city centre and Aldi and other shops only 200 yards away. Staff here were excellent especially Levi and Domi helping with transport to the Hungaroring and doing so in a courteous, kind and pleasant manner. Room we got had a 4 post bed and lovely decor, breakfast was simple but enough. Thomas the night porter was great and served us drinks after long days from behind reception. Overall a very pleasant stay in the Corvin Hotel thanks to the staff.

I booked with a tour operator and this was hotel I was given. My room was spacious and the washroom is big. I like the heated towel rack. There was water in the room as well but no coffee/tea. It is also about a 20 min walk from the city centre. There is a metro but the line is under repair. Bus and trams are available. Breakfast also had a good selection. I stayed in the Sisi wing. I think my only complaint would be the noise level. This is the first time I stayed in a hotel where I can hear my neighbours. Not completely clearly but it was between clearly and muffled. So at night, I can hear my neighbours, and also foot steps. I am not sure if people are stomping but it just seems like when I regularly walk, I can hear my own footsteps. This morning, I heard an iPhone alarm and I woke up but then I realized it was my neighbours alarm, but that’s how clear it was. Everything else was great except that part, which is why I would actually rate my stay as 3.5 stars.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during our vacation to Budapest. It is on the pest side and close to public transport. The front desk is always manned and check in was quick. The room was spacious and well maintained. The wifi worked fine and bf spread was decent. The person in the front was always courteous and helpful. He even gave us an electric kettle on request and gave us a map and restaurant suggestions close by. We had a comfortable stay and it is value for money stay.

Recently (Jan. 2022) stayed four nights at the Corvin Hotel and was very grateful I did. The room was spotless, the bed and bedding sleep-promoting, and the bathroom spacious and with an excellent shower. Downstairs, the breakfast buffet was spacious with a wide variety of traditional (e.g. scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries), Hungarian, and gluten-free fare along with three different seating areas to enjoy the food. Desk staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The location is excellent: a few minutes from the 4/6 tram, a bank, a small grocery store, and Corvin Plaza for eager shoppers. Budapest is very busy and exciting just outside the hotel's doors, and inside it is an oasis of calm.

This was our second time at Corvin Hotel, and it was as good and perfect as the first one. We are definitely coming back for a third go around. The Hotel is clean, and in order, with friendly staff no matter what time we came. There is a good breakfast buffet, with both hot and cold food, where its easy to find something to eat and drink for all. The Hotel is in a walking distance for more or less everything. Even the Great Mall, and the Gellért Spa on the Buda side of Budapest. Placed away from the busy streets, on a quiet street. And for the Cleaning staff - We hope that we translated the note somewhat correctly.
Response from Property: Dear Henriett, Thanks so much for this great review. I will pass you kind words to my colleagues. I am really happy you were satisfied with our services and we are looking forward to welcome you again during your next stay in Budapest. Best wishes,
