The hotel is not bad. The view of the balcony is good and it’s great to sit in the evening with a cup of coffee on the balcony, either in the morning or in the evening. The pool on the roof is impressive. But the declared spa, of course, is not what I would like to see and use. On the second day of using the spa, the hammam broke down. At breakfast, they forgot to put butter for the salad. And of course, I wanted to see real eggs in the omelet, and not a powder mixture for omelet. That is, if you want an omelet, you shouldn’t order it in hotels.

The hotel environment is great. Free underground parking directly leads to the room level.
The breakfast was also very rich. The hotel upgraded me for free when the room type I booked was no longer available. The balcony where I stayed can directly see the winding mountain road and the sea.

Nice hotel but in a very busy area, if you choose a room with a sea view be prepared to take some earplugs as the hotel is set on a very busy road. The hotel was exceptionally clean light and airy. However there are a few improvements it could make:- tea and coffee were not topped up in your room this had to be requested. Breakfast was good but table service with hot drinks would be much better and avoid queues at machines. Half board choices were good with nice local wines that were not too expensive. However I think on some nights large groups of local men frequented the restaurant and it felt more like a motorway service station. If you want a quiet holiday destination Budva is not for you !

We stayed here for 7 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. We had a lovely junior suite room with a small balcony with a side view of the sea in the distance. The hotel is well located, it has a supermarket underneath it, it is around 10 mins walk to the start of the Budva harbour and an additional 20 mins walk to the old town. The rooftop pool area is beautiful, there are plenty of sunbeds throughout the day and a bar for drinks and food. We ate lunch here twice and dinner once and the food was good on all occasions. I recommend the strawberry daiquiris and fresh orange juice! Breakfast was great, I enjoyed fresh fruit and pancakes everyday. There is also eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, fresh bread, pastries, yoghurt etc. I enjoyed a lovely foot massage in the spa and used the gym once but it’s quite small and gets very hot. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Budva.

We spent 11 nights at the Iberostar Slavija. The hotel is clean and modern we had a beautiful sea view, and although it is located on a main road with lots of traffic noise, it was quiet when the doors were closed. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. However we booked on a half board basis and immediately regretted not booking Bed and breakfast only. The evening meals were very tasteless soups were cold and extremely salty. All meats were covered in oil. 4 nights we had a set menu on the rooftop terrace. Service was slow and the choices were poor 2 nights running the menu was the same and then the following 2 nights the same again! My advice is to definitely book bed and breakfast only on this hotel.
