Based on the hotel's location and the reviews we read here, we booked a triple room. The room was a good size, with a good closet, an excellent location, and some very attentive staff. The main negative point seemed to be the central heating, which was unstable. But the bathroom was the problem, the water from the bathtub/shower was coming up through the drain, flooding the bathroom, and there was a leak in the wall that led to the bedroom, which had recently been painted but was full of bubbles. In the early hours of our departure, the bathroom sink collapsed, luckily not injuring anyone in the bathroom. I immediately notified the person at the reception desk, who gave us no support and charged us an abusive amount for the "loss", which was partly caused by the hotel's responsibility. I argued that the cost should be split, at least, but "the administrator said that's the amount". We had to be at the airport in less than an hour, so I paid. I sent a message to the hotel later, no word, no apology, nothing. Neglect. I will return to Buenos Aires (it was my 4th trip to the city), but never Facon again.
