Although majestically placed in the heart of the Microcentro, or perhaps relying on this sole fact, the staff was one of the rudest and less helpful I've seen in a hotel in this price range in Latin America.
They refused to speak any other language other than Spanish, and when requested to speak slowly so we could listen through the porteño accent, they didn't. When asked about their room service, the answer was a dry "scan the QR code". When asked about what would be open (it was Christmas), they told us to ask around the street.
Luckily, the people on the streets were far more warm and helped us get around the city better.
The rooms were good and appropriately clean.
