Super 8 by Wyndham Buffalo

Worst place I've ever stayed. Lots of bugs , seriously thousands of them! Ended up with lots of bites. We had a group with multiple rooms. All rooms had a terrible smell . Since the windows don't open, airing it out was not an option. Floors were sticky and would turn your socks black in minutes. No hot water. Toilets were super short like they were made for kids and there were no hand rails for older folks or handicap. There was no house keeping, we had to bring our towels to the front desk and exchange them if we need clean. There was no in room coffee makers, no free breakfast, and no working vending machines or ice makers. We were unable to get any devices to connect to the internet with the supplied password. One room had a huge stain in the sheets and mattress that looked like it came from a dead body. The only reason we still stayed was because they messed up the billing. We would have had to wait for refund for 18 nights worth of rooms to rent another place and refunds don't happen instantly. Lots of stairs because they have to elevator of ramps for handicapped people.

There is no elevator, no breakfast, bed was uncomfortable. The entire hotel smelled of what I couldn’t identify. The front desk staff was barely able to speak English and over the phone was extremely hard to understand. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

Website stated there would be a big breakfast and we were never told at check-in that they no longer had breakfast. Rooms were ok / standard, but hallways were smelly and need maintenance / updating. Exterior doors not locked / secure.

This hotel was amazingly friendly, clean and convenient to everything in / near Buffalo Wyoming, and also super affordable. Some of the poor reviews online make me wonder if they were written by competitors that cannot match the price while maintaining cleanliness and friendliness. It was a great hotel for the July 4th weekend, 2024, and has walking trails near the river right across the street. The town of Buffalo is super friendly as well.

Just because the webpage indicates a breakfast is provided, it is toast only. Then the staff argue that its sufficient. Just take it of the webpage so people can avoid it if you will not actually provide it. My low expectations of Super 8 were not able to be met.

There seemed to be several technical issues at this hotel. When we arrived, we were told right away that the cable was not working for some reason. We also heard another guest complaining that the AC was not working in his room. When we arrived, there were not enough towels for every member of our family to shower in the room. We asked right away (around 10) for additional towels and were told that there were some in the wash and weren't ready yet. We asked again in the morning (around 6:30) but they only had hand towels available which were inconvenient for me to dry off with. Mom also had to ask for a hair dryer because there was not one available for her to use in the room. The breakfast area was small and there was not a lot of options available for breakfast, so we ended up eating at McDonalds instead.

Stayed 3 nights. Room was clean. No breakfast due to problem with sink. Had a problem with TV remote not working that staff resolved on day 2 by replacing TV. Staff were nice but some of them smoked right outside the main door. No local channels on TV. Landscaping let go to weeds. Good thing it was lower price.
