Booked this hotel for a one night stay. I wish I had booked longer, the hotel stands on its own, if I’m honest I did not think it was the right place, anyway was met by a young man , showed us to our room, now that was a teat a really nice modern room with a very comfortable bed. We went to the restaurant at night for a meal it was busy we ordered and I have to say it’s one of the best meals I’ve ever had it was cooked to perfection and served up beautifully. Breakfast was equally as good, if your in this area get booked in and defo go to the restaurant it’s delightful and you won’t be disappointed.

The hotel is located in... Steigerwald and is a local hub for hikers, bikers or cyclists that want to discover the area. Next to that, the hotel is close to highway 3 and perfect for people driving through Germany (like us). We booked our room only 30 minutes before arrival but they expected us and welcomed us with open arms. There is a parking next to the hotel (with some charging stations) and also a little playground (and trampoline) for the smaller kids. The restaurant has a pleasant terrace and a traditional menu (food was simple but good). The shower and beds were fine so we had a good night. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with good choice and all tasted good. So after a perfect night and breakfast, we were good to continue our journey home.

Gastraum scheint in die Jahre gekommen zu sein und wirkte unsauber. Freundlicher Service. Wein und Bier waren gut. Das Essen war hervorragend. Besonders der Salar war lecker. Hoffentlich hilft der Frühjahrsputz, denn wir fanden benutzte Masken auf den Bänken. Ebenso auch Flaschenverschlüsse. Dafür zwei Punkte Abzug
